Excellent - they have serviced my car for years now. I would not go anywhere else. Very friendly, professional, highly qualified and knowledgable. Nothing better than a family business, for quality service.

Unfortunately, my experience with this workshop was deeply disappointing. Despite presenting clear symptoms — a leaking high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP), engine hesitation, loss of power, and repeated EPC warnings on the dashboard — the mechanics failed to connect these critical issues. Their diagnostic approach failed, lacking the necessary analytical thinking to "connect the dots." The direct relationship between a failing HPFP and engine performance issues is basic automotive knowledge, yet it seemed entirely overlooked. This workshop may be suitable for very basic repairs, but anything beyond that seems to exceed their technical capacity. I cannot recommend them for diagnosing or handling more complex mechanical problems. A serious rethink of their diagnostic standards and technical training is strongly advised. To make matters worse, the mechanic did in fact spot the HPFP leak but dismissed it, insisting it was unlikely to be the cause of the issue and citing the cost of the part. This was after I had already spent £500 at this garage (coil packs, spark plugs and some other parts as car was misfiring). After asking if the HPFP could be replaced, I was told that they don't have time for this (fair enough) and they would get back to me which never happened. After taking my car to a different garage and instructing them to replace the HPFP with a genuine part, the issue was completely resolved. Sometimes, effective vehicle diagnostics require thinking beyond what the computer shows — a broader understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to apply critical thinking is essential.

We had an exhaust problem when travelling North and searched for the nearest garage. We found MMC Motors and limped our way there. We were greeted by Mike who was working on another job but was happy to stop that to sort my exhaust. 30 mins later we were on our way again. Thanks Mike for an amazing response which saved our entire days plans. Without MMC we would likely have cancelled our plans. Amazing service and so much appreciated.

We have used several times now, this time for a service on our BMW. As always the team were friendly and honestly could not fault them. As honest as they come and the work is top notch. Would highly recommend.
