As a tourist, I looked around for barbers and did online research. I’m picky as I like the tight fades and had a hard time finding photos of different places to grab my confidence. Many business posted nice pictures of the setup and shop vibe, but not so much haircuts to really get a sense of the quality. So I walked by Urban Trend and saw that the barber Innocence was giving a smooth fade to a young man. Interestingly and refreshingly, there was gospel and worship music in the background which I love but is rare to see. I came as a walk in with no worries and I loved the flexibility. Luckily I was next in line as a young man was almost finished. Innocence knew exactly what to do after he asked what I wanted. He was thorough and detailed. The haircut was crisp! He was also a chill guy and easy to connect with. His shop vibe is very peaceful and relaxing, great if you had a long day. The setup is intentional where he works in his best element. Will definitely return when I’m in the area again!
Located just at the edge of city centre, there are two free cash points nearby should one not have cash. Excellent barber who dedicates his time to customers and his barber shop is easy to locate.
I was working in Southampton all week and needed cut my hair before weekend. It was yesterday late afternoon.. Skiny guy with glasses and baseball hat was cutting my hairs in this Barber shop. His cut is absolutely awfull! My hairs are cutted asymmetric, there is a lot steps, and he didn't listen what I telling, becouse he was talking with friend and looked around, instead, take care about his work!! Mate: if you can't cut, don't do it!!! Find trade for youself where you will be good. You are worst barber which I met and you don't know nothing about customer service!!!! DO NOT recommend this place at all!!!
Very busy, cramped barbers. I made an appointment by phone, but you just wait your turn in the queue. It's comfortable enough but waiting half an hour for a cut isn't fun. The barber was friendly and did a reasonable job, but they seem to cater more for people getting tight cuts. I won't go back again, but would recommend them for short hair styles.
