   Amazing customer service, my friend recommended the lady with blonde highlights in ger hair to cut my hair, I went there, very good prices, I thought it was good but I was used to the barber thirther down, but then started going there more and more now she is the only person I'd let touch or cut my hair. I don't even really let my girl touch my hair that much

   I went in without having been to a barber shop in over 10 years, as a close friend used to cut my hair, so I actually didn't know what to expect. However, the lady who cut my hair was friendly, chatty, and after I showed her want I wanted from an old photo, she got to work. Came out looking great and really affordable.

   Unfortunately I do not have any idea if these people can actually cut hair; on balance, I think I was right to walk away given the attitude I was faced with when approaching their staff The shop is listed as closing at 1800 and I get there 1735 which presumably is enough time to cut someone's hair. The conversation with the grumpy middle-aged lady is as follows: Customer: Hi are you still open? No worries if not Grumpy lady: *audibly huffs* yeah as long as it's quick Customer: Is it cash payment only? (Bearing in mind there is a very visible ATM literally attached to the shop next door - would probably have taken max 1 min to get the cash) Grumpy lady: Yeah are you gonna be quick Customer: I will happily come back another day if now is not convenient Grumpy lady: We can do it if you stop faffing about and wasting time Perhaps she was having a rough day but perhaps she could try dealing with it in more productive ways than taking it out on people who were about to hand her money? You live and you learn I suppose!

   Best prices in Southampton Guaranteed! Best cut also, 24 years and I never have found anyone who can cut my hair the way I like it; this all changed when I discovered The Barber Shop! The staff/ manager have figured out the perfect cut, I owe them a lot! Amazing service, couldn't recommend them enough!

   Best barbers in area, been going there years! Think the other reviewers are confused. Shop closes at 6pm not 5 and they always try and fit you in if there is time. Obviously sometimes you may miss out if it's late in the day but that's because they are good barbers and have a lot of loyal customers!
