   If you’re looking for a lesson in how not to run a barbershop, this place is a masterclass. I asked for a simple fade and came out looking like someone took clippers to my head blindfolded. The barber clearly wasn’t listening, or just didn’t care. Was just chatting along with his mates than just cut my hair. Zero attention to detail, and somehow managed to combine speed with sloppiness. The vibe was unprofessional, tools looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since 2010, and nobody seemed to know what ‘customer service’ meant. Save your money and your hairline — go literally anywhere else.

   I'm an American working here in Southampton and was in need of a hair cut. I simply found this place on Google maps and went in for a trim. The young man that owns and operates the place was my stylist. He was a very nice guy and gave me a great haircut simply from showing him a picture of how my hair was done before. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great barbershop with great prices.

   Older gentleman cut my hair and did not listen to anything I said, clearly did not understand what I wanted, I asked him to trim the top with scissors and we agreed on the length but he wool it upon himself to go way shorter than I expected, when it came to lining up my edges he took the box too far in even though I asked him to just neaten it up. I now have to shape to my edges and it runs straight down. 0/10 experience would never go there again. Anyone who is young and looking for a barber do not trust this establishment.

   Went in on spec for an OAP cut. Got fantastic 'footballers' cut from young man Yilais. Would not accept more than the £10 OAP rate. Asked for ear hair burning and he jumped at the chance. Great fun.

   I don't normally post reviews of hair cuts but this was a five star experience that I will be doing again and again. The chaps were smiling, friendly and very skilled, I had the cut and wet shave with the hot towel - thoroughly recommended. So glad to see independent businesses providing this level of service and value locally, I hope they get the business they deserve. I will be back soon. Thanks!
