When I used to live in Southampton I came here for my haircut all the time. However since coming back to the area I had a haircut here at the end of October (my last haircut I ever had) and I must say I was not happy. The lady who cut my hair kept laughing and saying I was very unlucky because of my hair, throughout the cut. When I showed her a photo of the cut I wanted (at the start of the cut and with a lot of hair to work with) she said she can do that no problem. As I noticed my hair being cut an inch shorter than what the photo showed (about an inch and a half total length for the cut I wanted) I started to feel like she was purposely messing up the cut. I resigned from the style I wanted and even mentioned that she has cut it way too short so I found another style that would settle, and she tried to follow that. My friend who came with me even said this lady berated my hair and was very unprofessional. Overall, I went in for a trusted cut and came out feeling insulted, with a very short hairstyle and feeling like there was no hope for my hair. I am writing this in mid February (4 months later) and still haven't had a haircut since. I really need one so I will have to hunt around for alternative Barber shops. I am giving a 2 star instead of a 1 star because they used to be good.

Bit hit and miss depending on who you get, but I'm mostly happy with the service I've received here. Going in the mornings or on Wednesdays gives the best value, and the loyalty card feature is a nice touch.
Have been doing my hair since I was a toddler, never failed my hairstyle and have always perfected it. Rob is always up for a chat and has a great sense of humour, never makes you bored whilst he’s cutting your hair. Highly suggest

Tania at Bedford place always gives me an incredible haircut. Excellent customer service and very Friendly! Prices are always reasonable and can always rely on her for a exceptional and prompt haircut.
Incredible Haircut and Customer Service. The Store Manager, Tanya (sorry if I spelt this wrong!) was extremely friendly and took her time with my hair making sure It was how I wanted. All other barbers I have been to have either rushed my hair or are rude one way or another... Thanks so much!
