   Had a really great experience with Megan! I generally don't enjoy trips to the hairdresser's, I find it really stressful and rarely leave with what I wanted but Megan took the time to check to ensure the style matched her skillset, asked me lots of questions, taught me how to style it and was really nice to chat to!    Had my haircut with Sam. It was my first curly haircut and my first time at this salon, and I'm beyond pleased with the results! Sam did an amazing job, talked me through everything she was doing, and treated my hair with all the love and care it needed. After years of having 'straight' haircuts that never flattered my face and ruined the shape of my 3b curls, I can finally wear my curls with pride!

   I was visiting Derby and found this salon through an internet search and booked for a "blowy"! Lydia was my stylist and she couldn't have been more helpful, warm, and above all professional. I showed Lydia a picture of the sort of thing I was after, within the limitations of my actual hair the style was discussed and explained to me. It was carefully done and it stayed all night, even with the rainy weather. I wish I'd got photos to prove how good it was! The salon was comfortable, and the styling and decor was lovely.

   Came in yesterday for a restyle with Sam and I can honestly say it was the most fun, liberating and joyful experience I’ve possibly ever had at the hairdressers! She was engaging, friendly and talked me through every step of my mullet cut. She’s both talented and a pleasure to talk to. Im obsessed with my new cut and I feel bloody fantastic!    After not going to a hairdressers for a year due to bad experience I took the plunge and came here after recommendations from numerous people. I booked in with Lydia who was incredible and so friendly, I couldn’t have asked for better. She talked me through every step of the process and asked me about my hair type, normal hair routine etc. I’ve also now booked in to have my hair coloured next time which I’m very excited for after box dying my hair for so long! I can’t thank you all enough for making me feel so comfortable ☺️

   Had my second hair cut at Alice and the Hair a few weeks ago and I can't wait to go back. Louise was my stylist and did a fantastic job at working with my hair, giving me a lovely shaggy cut with tons of layers. Staff are really Lovely and friendly. Staff are super knowledgeable with hair and give great advice at maintaining it. I haven't had a bad hair day since and it's been such a nice feeling of being able to wake up, mess with your hair for a few seconds and be able to go out the door. Looking forward to potentially getting some hair colouring done as well. Highly recommend Louise!
