    Yes. It was made illegal across the EU in 2018 and the UK has kept the rule (Consumer Rights (Payment Surcharges) Regulations I went in there for water picked up a bottle. It says 99p on the shelf he charge me £1. I said to him it’s 99p on the shelf he made up some excuse that his machine doesn’t do 99p but he didn’t tell me. Before the transaction he is breaking the law watch out if you go in that shop make sure he charges you the right price as it says on the shelf if you use Card plus check your change as well if you use cash
