   I’ve been using this salon to keep my nails looking perfectly polished for many years. Prices are very competitive and the therapy sessions that lift your mental well well being come as an added freebie. I moved out of the area but still make the hundred mile round trip to come back to Unique nails to see the girls and guys & Bluebell who are all great (well actually Bluebell is a bit of a mardy cow nowadays but she keeps herself to herself).

   Had my nails done today. Vanessa repaired a really split nail by covering it with acrylic, can't tell its so good. Then had shellac on all nails and extremely pleased. Will definitely be back, everyone was so friendly and my manicure is brilliant!

   First started having my nails done by Hoai over 13 years ago now and have followed her from previous salon to here, her own business. I’m a particular and fussy person and know what I like; but, Hoai, Vanessa and Janine have all done various nail services for me and they listen to what I like and deliver. Acrylic extensions and regular pedicures and toe nail paint, all to a high standard and delivered in a friendly atmosphere with professionalism. Thanks as always!

   Apalled. Had achrylic nails done while ago for the first time on impulse, without understanding procedure involved, and no explanation from nail tecnician. Was initially pleased with results. After a while several of the achrylic nails lifted and tore off ends of natural nails with them. Several fingers were sore, one ended up bleeding. Returned today, was basically told quite normal for that to happen-and I must have done something to cause that to happen. , and I should have returned after only two weeks to have them soaked off. Male technician was very rude and arrogant , implied as he had 20 years experience must be my fault, snd shouted me down when I said what had happened, and continually interrupted me in a loud voice.. Eventually they agreed to soak off remaining acrylic nails which took 40 mins of very uncomfortable filing as well as soaking . I left with very dry and damaged nails. Found the whole visit very stressful and upsetting, my hands were shaking, and my heart rate shot through the roof. I have since been reassured my experience of acrylic nails is definitely not normal. This is the state of my nails few hours after having acrylic nails removed.

   I visited this nail bar today. My first impressions were good as I walked in off the street and they said they could fit me in before they closed. However this good impression did not last. I felt rushed and the girl doing my nails said I was not holding my hands correctly and this irritated her. I wasn't given the time to chose a colour and when I asked for advice it wasn't given. I was just told 'it depends what you want', not helpful. So for ease I opted to have the same colour as the nail technician but she misunderstood me, got it wrong and then proceeded to blame me. Needless to say I felt very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave.
