Emmy has been doing my hair now for a couple of years after me switching a lot between other places before and never really finding someone who made my hair look and feel as good as Emmy does! The salon gives such a relaxed and friendly vibe which is a nice place to spend over 3 hours there as I have a huge head of foils on each time! I wouldn’t go anywhere else, thanks for being there :)
Sharing because of the awful troll review I’ve just seen on insta stories! I started coming to Harpers in April 2022 and will be going for many, many years to come. Emmy has always been polite, chatty and kind to me. Always offering a drink top up, asking if I’d like the heater or fan on when I’m hot or cold, even moving me upstairs where nobody else was sat when I was having a bad day one time. I have never, ever received such incredible, empathetic customer service elsewhere in my life and will never forget the care I received that day. I was made to feel like an actual human being, when so many other salons treat you like you’re just another customer that pays them money. I also love how Emmy does my hair (obviously). The advice she gives on products, too. Not too pushy with sales, just genuine recommendations on what will work and what won’t. That’s always nice in a salon. All the other ladies in the salon are friendly and welcoming, as well. I once attended an appointment with my little dog and he was thoroughly entertained and doted on by the staff. I would recommend anyone to Harpers. Unfortunately I live in Chesterfield so most people I know go more local but when my daughter is old enough she will be coming with me to Harpers so that’s one extra customer I can make sure enters their doors, and I know she will be welcomed with kind, friendly faces just like I always have been :-) Ignore the troll review, some idiots have very sad lives they have to leave fake reviews under different names to make them feel better for a few minutes. Cowards!
Had an emergency restyle of a pretty awful cut from another hairdressers. Louise did an amazing job of putting it right. Plus my dog loves them for the biscuits they have outside.
Really good service. Fitted my granddaughter in for a trim at very short notice. Made a good job on a very active little girl. Her mum was delighted when she went home.
Emmy at Harpers is beyond excellent: she listens and understands what I want from my colour each time (often better than I do), I’m always so happy with my hair. I moved to London five years ago and I still travel back - Emmy is the best. The Harpers team are friendly and helpful and the salon itself is lovely. 5*, couldn’t recommend Emmy or Harpers more.
Chloe has been doing my hair for over 2 years now! She is reliable and always professional. She really listens to what I want and provides invaluable input! Would highly recommend both Chloe and Harper's.
