Bought a box of chocolates from the store today, a Belgium brand that is quite hard to come across in the UK, they were selling them for £15 pounds which is a fair price, but on getting home and opening them feeling like they didnt taste right, I looked for a best before and its been completely cut off from the original packaging, pretty sure that's an illegal practice to sell out of date items that have the dates cut from the packaging and not even discounted or warned about them being out of date.

Friendly convenience store, great to have in the area. Dry-cleaning service + Amazon pick-up.

Always An awful experience when shopping the staff are hostile. The products on range are extremely underwhelming and overpriced. I bought an item a couple of days ago and when I got home it was as looked like it was out of date and was completely inedible, so so disappointing. THANK GOD WE HAVE TESCO’s.

Called into newly reopened shop to get groceries for dinner. There was one basket on it's side just outside entrance door so I picked it up but it had no handle & considering there was nothing else I tucked it under my arm & walked into shop. The shop was completely empty but about 30 seconds later a man appeared from the back & I said hello to him but he did not reply & just glared at me. I casually had a walk round the shop having a browse to see what was on offer but was very underwhelmed, I would have been well catered for if I had been shopping for energy drinks but I was shopping for dinner ingredients & found nothing other than a TV dinner which I didn't want. I also noticed that as I was browsing the staff member continuously watched me which I really did not like. I put an end to this shopping experience by purchasing a bottle of lemonade & some sweets, I paid with cash & my change was emptied into my hand from a height & some of which bounced onto the floor which I picked up, not very hygienic & no apology from the man either, said goodbye & not surprised did not get response. The only positive thing about this shopping experience is "thank goodness Tesco is up the road & open". Won't call there again or recommend.
