Walked out of there with a haircut that made me embarrassed to leave the house after showing them a photo and then saying, though my hair needed a bit of growth it was doable. Also they don’t take card which is weird. The guy who worked there was lovely but the lady who cut my hair didn’t seem like she cared to much.
Best in Burton by far. I've hated my baby-fine hair my whole life, this is the only barber who's ever taken the time and effort to show me techniques to style it. They deserve cake, bring them cake.

After moving to Nottingham 5 years ago I came back to Darren’s. Honestly I haven’t found anyone close to being as good. I walked in lost with what hair cut to get, the team gave an honest opinion as to what I should do and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. Such a lovely friendly team and you just don’t find quietly this good. Trust me, I’ve tried. My only problem is trying to persuade myself to travel 45 minutes every time I need a hair cut!
Been coming here for nearly 15years. Now my 5year old son comes and loves it as they make everyone feel welcome. Online booking these days is so much better than walk ins, always on time, always a good skin fade.
Took my 5 year old son here for first time. Online booking and prepay was easy to sort. Appointment was on time and they took the time to do a very nice hair cut for him. Excellent service will be back.
Excellent service, fast and affordable. They can split some hairs... I love that it's all online. Really elegant and clever. They will accept people that haven't booked but booking is sooooo easy and you can eve choose your favourite. Always go for Emer, she's excellent with kids and has funny jokes... or so my 9yr old thinks.
