Lovely friendly staff always so good with my autistic daughter who loves to have her nails done every month. She always had a good Experience. I would recommend Hollywood nails. I’m so pleased with my new nails(Cateye effect) It’s always a pleasure coming to Hollywood woods to discover new options Linda and her team are so friendly and accommodating.
So I booked for gel nails at 11:30. I arrived before. They didn’t start doing my nails will 12:15, after people who got the after me had already been done. It was a shame as I was in a rush. They also didn't give me the ‘nail example thing’ and then expected me to know straight away. I had one of the boys and he started clipping my nails off so I said ‘excuse me?’ And he said ‘oh do you mine? So I came out the tips on?’ And replied with yes I do mind because I’m just getting gel. This man could not get his head round me just getting gel nails on my rather long natural nails that he had already started chopping off. I was appalled by this as I have been growing them for awhile. It wasn’t the best experience in the world!
I booked an appointment over the phone and I explained that I needed to leave by 4pm. Luckily, the lady was able to slot me in for 3.15. When I arrived, no one greeted me or said hello so I waited until someone was free. I explained that I had an appointment (it was still before my appointment time) but the staff refused to honour my appointment as there were walk-ins waiting. She asked if I could wait but I explained, again, that I wouldn't be able to as I needed to get back for school pick-up. I said again that I had an appointment but she asked me if I had arrived before the walk-in customers. Obviously I had not - I had booked an appointment. I really didn't appreciate being ignored and the staff wasting my time (and parking money). If you can't manage appointments - say you are only available for walk-ins. This is so unbelievably discourteous. I'll never go back.
Went for the first time the other day. Warm welcome! Really delicate with my hands, I wasn’t happy with my nails but I messaged them and they were more than happy to fit me in and correct them for me!! I really appreciate it☺️ Thankyou! Would go again!
A bit of a wait past your appointment time (they are busy so appointments are necessary), but there are enough staff to keep things moving. There were obvious long term familiar clients there while I was there, which is a good sign. The staff were friendly and professional. I would go again, they did beautiful and tricky "cats eyes" nails for me.
