So far I am very happy with the look and warmth of my new heaters. I don't have them too hot in the room but I cannot bear to be chilled. This week promises to be colder weather. I do have to be cautious and learn to use them without wasting heat and money. My two cats have found the larger heater to be especially comforting.

We recently completed training on the Dimplex Quantum and Dimplex Edel products, and the experience was fantastic. Tim Pearson delivered a really informative session that gave us a great understanding of the technology. A massive thank you to Laura Perkins, whose support has been exceptional from the very start of this process. The products themselves are incredible, and thanks to this training, the team is now fully up to speed. Highly recommended!

The ML2CE Convector Heater is BEAB-Approved.  The quality and premium features of this stylish heater show straight out of the box, and puts it head and shoulders above the "run-of-the mill" cheaper models on many retail outlets. The moulded 13Amp Plug is the first thing you will notice, it's a premium top end 'D-Plug' on the end of a high-capacity cable (2kw heater remember). The Electronic Touch Screen module (I looked through the top of heater) is again, a high quality component unit incorporating 'relay switching' of heater-element with No 'flash over' visible during thermostat cutout, which is so common on the cheaper models, using budget-end 'bi-metallic strips' which flash like a lightning bolt ever time it break's electrical contact. The Heater has an 'Eco Setting' which allows active control of power usage depending on room temperature, as well as manual control of power and temperature. Setting the temperature digitally is so much more precise than other 'printed number' types on a control dial. When the heater reaches the desired temperature, the 'Display' temp setting in degrees C, flashes at a medium brightness level until the heater switches on again.  The 'Timer' function has two modes, one is a countdown to Switch-Off, and the other mode is a Delay Timer, countdown to Power-On mode (please note this). You cannot directly set a Time for the heater to come on (there is no clock on this model). It's just a different way of using this heater, which I did not find an issue at all.

Ok the verdict is out to be honest. After having a Dimplex optimist heat unit for almost 10 years we purchased a stove in January. We followed the instructions for decommissioning to the letter . When we fired it up again in September it didn't work... We are hoping it was just a rogue fault . The return and replacement process at B&Q was excellent. We now have a lovely stove back in our lounge. Fingers crossed that this one makes it through for another ten years!!

Finally moved from traditional fans to a tower one, think I have made the right choice , I have 3 Dimplex greenhouse heaters and they have served me well. So I thought why not try their remote control tower fan, what a pleasure it is .Good looking, easy controls and the the remote is the icing on the cake, so no more keep on having to get up out of the armchair/bed to alter the settings. Good price too, my wife is a fairly light sleeper and the quiet sleep setting bares little noise while keeping you cool
