Genuinely agonising time. I was in a few months ago to get a tooth removed and i was in so much pain during the procedure I’m genuinely afraid of going back for my checkup today. That along with my sensory issue of the tools hitting my teeth makes every experience very unsettling and leaves me with a more negative view
Having just moved to Inverurie, I was quite nervous about registering with a new practice, I’d been with my previous dentist for so many years. However my fears were completely unfounded. The care is of a very high standard and having recently had a long and specific treatment, I was treated with incredible kindness and empathy. Veronika is so kind and caring, she really is an asset to the team. I’m very impressed and would highly recommend without hesitation.
I have had the worst dental experience of my life at this practice. An extraction that I now know should never have been attempted in the surgery, failed after 1.5 hours in the chair and multiple injections. I was asked to come back the following day to try again! I fainted and vomited when I arrived home, and the following day I could not open my mouth. I asked to be referred to the dental hospital. By Thursday I was able to seek a second opinion prior barely and told it should never have been attempted, and must be removed at the hospital, I was also advised to check that the referral made clear the situation and that it was urgent. I checked today, and based on the referral have been referred back out of the hospital as a non urgent minor procedure. I have been on antibiotics for 10 days, and relying on painkillers 24/7. I would also suggest that levels of hygiene are questionable- duct tape repairing a dental chair and a previously used mop and bucket to wipe spillage. It is Dickensian! 7 weeks on: Still waiting on a reply from the practice manager. A full formal complaint was sent to them, and there has been no response. I have now had to pay for a specialist private extraction, in a badly injured site, that had a ‘complex’ set of circumstances that should never have been tackled in the dentist surgery!
The nicest dentist Iv been too. The reception are really polite and helpful, and the dentists are brilliant. Highly recommend
Iv had so many bad experiences in my adult life with dentists, I always associated dentists with pain. For many years I stayed away and suffered in silence, but I took the bull by the horns and called inverurie smile care (this was hard for me just phoning them) the lovely ladies at reception are so understanding and very helpful and caring. On my 3rd appointment my treatment started, my nerves were all over the place, but my wonderful dentist and his very patient nurse, made me feel so calm, made sure I was pain free, didn't rush me, explained things to me, even at the end of the appointment I got a hug and was told they were proud of me........never ever in my adult life have I experienced anything even close to this. So if you are a big chicken with out the feathers just like me, I highly recommend inverurie smile care, they truly are all angels, thank you
I've always been extremely nervous of dentists, and always wanted put to sleep to have any work done!! Now however my dentist Archana has been excellent at getting me to the stage where I can have any work done while awake. Excellent service and everything done at your pace! Highly recommended
After our dentist left, myself and my children are now under the care of Navin Aziz who is absolutely fantastic. What a highly professional and knowledgeable man! All the Smile Care team are friendly and approachable making the whole experience a pleasure. The reminder text's and phone calls of appointments are great, I totally appreciate these! Such a welcoming Dental Practice, my whole family are registered here. Highly recommend these guys :-)
Lovely dentists! All treatment options were well explained and all staff was extremely friendly. Very good with such nervous patients as myself. Long opening hours for those of us who commute, as they are open until 8PM most days. Overall very good experience.
