Had really good service from Soutcoast Building Supplies. Ordered a load of materials for a garden rennovation. Staff were nice, price was better than other local options, and the lorry delivered the same day.
Make sure you check that the quantities you get delivered/collect are correct. Also, don’t trust availability dates on the online shop: some items come from other branches but they’ll still show up as next day collection
They didn't have 150 or 100mm couplers they didn't have any metal disc cutting blades and didn't have a 165 mm skillsaw blade with 30 mm arbour ! but they did have some shuttering ply
Decided to try SBS,Bought Materials for a Job, The staff are really pleasant but the business is not very competent and the senior management are not at all focused on the customers expereience. Lots of stock errors on their systems meant out of stock materials were promised next day from another branch but failed to turn up leaving me with a 40 mile round trip or no materials, Senior management not prepared to sort the problem, so i will be sticking to Travis Perkins in future.
Good for building materials just abit of a wait sometimes and being a builder time is money.
