When visiting this store watch dates. Especially cakes donuts always old dates. The store never has fresh donuts and try to push out of date or past their best before date. The manager thinks it ok if you don't want to buy old stock. He should be retrained. It could be a good local store but out of date or old stock lets this store down.
Cut your bushes back, I've just scratched the side of my car following the parking white lines. I was even parked on the line the other side but the bushes are so overgrown it still scratched up my car.
I have never met a group of more incompetent individuals, I tried to buy an energy drink and was denied being told my sister looked too young. I then reattempted with my mother who is 50 and I am 20 the manager and store manager both refused claiming it was a challenge twenty five policy which I assumed was for alcoholic beverages. I provided photos of a passport which is in line with this policy according to the government website regarding non alcoholic products. They made my mother seem in the wrong whilst they repeated "it's policy" over and over again like robots. From lower level employs I could forgive this but at management level it's ridiculous. Other than that the store itself was relatively tidy and despite the business it was easy to access a till.
Formerly Budgens until a couple of years ago. Sainsburys took it over and the store had a small refresh. Not as much selection as a regular size Sainsburys of course but if your in Bishops Waltham its the best local supermarket.
Prices are much higher than normal Sainsburys under the guise of "its a convieni store" example Hedge End Tropical Orange £2 ,Bishops Waltham £4 no offer.
Love this shop. Staff are helpful & polite.There's a staff member Sally.She is so nice, helpful and a breath of fresh air on a dull rainy day.Sally is always ready to help customers no matter how busy she is on the shop floor and she's always got a smile too. Barb is a lovely helpful member of staff too.
What a cheerful shop with amazing, helpful staff. The manager is frequently on the shop floor packing shelves, greeting customers. Always a hearty welcome at the entrance by a pleasant lady reminding shoppers to disinfect hands, trolleys or baskets on entering. Checkouts are quick and self checkouts easy to use. Thanks Sainsbury
A lovely little shop with many surprises. The entrance is to the rear of the building. When you enter the shop you are greeted with hand sanitizer and a gated entrance. This shop has everything you need for a convenient top up shop or a quick bite to eat. There is a customer service counter, manned tills and self serve tills. This shop also has a Costa machine which serves seasonal drinks as well.
