Lovely food, sucks that the workers aren't. Only one ever worker has been nice and patient with me, he helped me even when my card declined twice, but the woman at the till with the glasses and short pink hair just stared and judged and kept being very inpatient. Keep in mind im just a child trying to buy some snacks.
This is the worst shop in Southampton i was Shopping there and bought some shrimp and sweets the shrimp was 3£ and the sweets 2£ all together that would be 5£ but No it was 7£ So i So i asked the cashire about that but she just shouted the shrimp is 5£ and told me to leav cause there was a linę So i did but went to check the price on the shrimp and still it was 3£
Why is it they cannot open in time on a Saturday!! It's getting a nasty habit If you are down to work then bloody turn up
Is getting ridiculous why cant they just boost the signal or stop the picker packers 3 weeks in a row having to have shopping rescanned due the loosing signal on tje scanners its ridiculous.. its not rocket science boost the bloody signal or set up a separate site for just picker packers..if it happens again next time.ill be asking to speak to manager
Used this store tonight and was so impressed with a member of staff named Josh . I saw him confront a lad who he thought had shop lifted a drink, when the lad explained he had purchased it earlier he magnanimously apologised for his error. He then served me and when I explained I didn’t have my club card on me he asked the customer behind me if we could scan his card otherwise I’d be paying £10 for my wine rather than £8 if I’d had my card. It’s really refreshing to see a young man with such loyalty to his employer, integrity when he’s able to admit he was wrong and customer service in going that bit further than he had to. Went in This Shop today at 615am lovely tall man helped me get my items also it was nice to see so many people at my Sister in laws Funeral on Wednesday and what a lovely tribute to Nicole Harrison in the Shop thank you so much
Always been a well stocked Tesco just on Sunday morning when I visited the branch the atmosphere inside wasn't pleasant. There was staff members talking to each other about a staff member who wasn't working saying how she is so lazy and always finds an excuse to avoid doing stuff like saying she had a migrain to try get out of the till work but as soon as she's asked to go work on the delivery she's suddenly fully recovered etc it just wasn't a good experience hearing that kind of conversation whilst customers where present in store
The staff are brilliant, the prices are not , many elderly people shop here for convenience . Think Tesco would keep prices the same here as in their larger stores . Only ever think of profit over helping local community.
A great place to queue! No matter what time you visit it's 99% certain that there will be one person on the till and 3 people randomly stacking shelves. The self-service tills are unreliable and if you need assistance or confirmation that you're over 25 you will be waiting a long time for anything to happen. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but there is one miserable cow who is best avoided - she could turn milk sour from a mile away. One day the management will find the courage to get rid of her and sales will double overnight. Alternatives such as the co-op and One stop are often as bad or worse though, hence the reason this store is often so busy.
