I’ve been going to Rayan for years and can honestly say it’s the best shop in Southampton! The staff are always kind, helpful, and genuinely interested in how your day is going. They work extremely hard, serve quickly, and always with a smile. The shop itself is spotless, the meat is always fresh, and the bread is perfectly baked. Their products are consistently high quality, and it’s a pleasure shopping there every time. I work in a nearby school, and on behalf of myself and my colleagues, Rayan is our go-to place for lunch. They serve hot, freshly made samosas and Bolani, along with a great selection of hot and cold drinks. If you want fresh produce, friendly service, and amazing quality, I highly recommend this shop.
Although located a bit far from downtown, this is a rare supermarket that's open late on Sundays. Halal food is a major selling point, but a wide variety of other groceries are available. They also offer a wide selection of fruit, so I was able to purchase a variety, and the prices were reasonable.

Fabulous shop selling a very wide range of mainly middle eastern foods. Cakes and pastries are delicious as is the bread baked in a tandoor while you wait. excellent dried fruit including top quality dates and figs. many sorts of food in jars including lovely olives. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable.
