   I thought long and hard if I should write this review. As a business owner myself, I always try to stay away from businesses that I'm not happy with. However, this situation left me in shock and would not want anybody to go through this situation. I (white lady) went to the hairdresser with my mom to book an appointment for my daughter (mixed) who's turning 8 the week after. I explained it's my daughter's birthday and I thought it would be a treat for her to get a nice haircut. She enjoys ever so much being pampered. Plus, she hasn't had a proper haircut in a while, so it would be perfect to give it a shape. On the day of the appointment, 3 hours before we were meant to be there, the owner calls to say she has works done on her apartment, and had a delivery coming and needs to be there (a bit odd since there's people there doing works, could have taken the parcel but that's none of my business). I told her I'm disappointed since knowing she had a delivery, she could have messaged me a day before or morning to allow me to make other plans and not ruin a little girls birthday and emphasized this is not really good customer service. Two hours before the appointment she calls and says she can see us in the end as she managed to get things covered. I told her by that point that I made other plans and won't be attending as I feel the customer service is lacking and would not be using her services. She proceeded to tell me that I should take a class on learning how to brush my daughters hair (she's never seen my daughter). How dare she assume that because I'm white I don't know how to brush my daughter's hair? I was in shock. She hang up the phone. I only wrote this as discussing with another friend with curly hair (also white) that explained she was also refused by the same hairdresser saying she only does afro hair - in spite of the pictures here that show white ladies. I now think this is just a marketing trick. So, if you have mixed kids please stay away or send your other half to make the appointment, that's all I have to say. Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect.

   Excellent service provided by Nadine who has cut, conditioned and styled my hair beautifully. Can honestly say ‘best cut I have had in many years’. Came out of her salon feeling fantastic… definitely a cut above many others ! Thank you Nadine!

   Amazing! Would recommend to anybody with afro hair looking to get treatments! I went in wanting to dye my red and black afro hair blonde, after being told by many stylists it can't be done, Nadine said she can do it. She took her time, talked me through the whole process, made sure I was comfortable and the end result is SUPERB! My hair still has its natural softness and curls and I'm now a blonde!!! Not just her amazing hair skills, we had a great chat, it was covid safe and I felt so welcome!
