I have had my nails done twice now at Kaaya, both girls were very friendly and did a beautiful and very professional job.
The nail tech was super nice, but she did a really sloppy job. Had my nails done 4 days ago, and one is already coming off. I have a sharp pointy bit on one finger and loads of bubbles all over the polish. I asked her not to file my nails as they were already very short and nicely shaped, however, she filed them anyway, and she didn't do the greatest job. I left with polish all over my finger tips and huge blobs of dried top coat hanging off the side of my nails. Not worth the 18 quid I paid.
Worst service at this place, just had my nails done and the lady had cut my cuticle, this was done about 3 hours ago and my nail is still bleeding, everyone who works there is so rude as well, customer service at its worst I'm afraid!
Worst manicure and gel polish I have ever had done. The nail technician apologised and said she was “sorry they’re a bit messy”! That was an understatement. Didn’t realise quite how bad they were until I saw them in daylight. Sent them a message with photos of my nail saying I wanted them redone and no one had the decency to even reply. This is about my 5th or 6th visit here. Don’t particularly like their customer service but for easiness have kept using them. That is definitely my last visit though. If you want your nails done professionally to a high standard avoid this place.
Totally unhappy here today I’m afrid. I visit here very regularly and am always happy. However today was a different story. Initially the fact they were happy to see me as a walk in was positive as I had not booked. However the staff member I was with made it clear to me that I could have tried the other branch and the app to book through instead of me just turning up. Both, I am aware of, I have the app, but if there was no space for me then simply I shouldn’t have been offered an appointment. This staff member was rude and rough with my nails to be honest. I changed to another staff memeber who was very nice and gentle. However this positive was not enough to change my rating as after my nails were done I was surprised to be charged full price even though I had my treat card. I understand £4 extra is not a huge amount but i find it pretty unprofessional that they can not wave this fee as they can see and I had proof to show how regularly I attend, however this was not enough. I feel I will take my business else where which is a shame as I’ve been going here for years.
