A wonderful pre 1900 former Reading Room building fully restored by the amazing Bishop’s Waltham Men’s Shed members. Now houses a rabbit warren of workshop rooms and still has a reading room facility. Great example of community ownership, care and a very practical workspace.
What a delightful place to randomly come across. Was waiting for a car to be prepped at a nearby garage, went for a wander and found this place. There appeared to be a village fete setting up, dance classes for kids going on, and a really good tea room. Lovely setting, tucked away in a quiet corner.
I think it will be a great place in the summer, we only popped in quickly as a friend told my husband and I about it. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. And it was warm inside
We liked their coffee and friendly people so much, we repeated the experience.

Lovley Cafe here. Corn Flower Sky. Really worth a visit. Lush coffee and home Made everything!
Nice venue for training or small gatherings. We could have done with the heating being on before we started on the first day. And the tick in the ladies toilet left a little to be desired. But being in a field surrounded buy dogs on walks. And wild animals at night. I could be expected. Some heating in the ladies loos would have been nice. But a tidy hall. Tables and chairs available.
