Amazing MRI with Sharad- he could tell I was nervous without me even telling him. Previously my brain scan would take over an hour and this new machine took 6 minutes. Clean and new- it was better than any of the central London private facilities. Thanks

I had an ultrasound appointment at 16:30, after fasting all day. I have tried to call the ultrasound reception to inform them I was going to be 6-7 mins late to my appointment but I couldnβt get through, the receptionist. As I turned up the receptionist told me that the clinician decided to cancel my appointment without any communication. The receptionist today on 7/11/2025 was SO RUDE!!! didnβt offer me a cup of tea (risk of hypoglycaemia)or any explanation to why my appointment was canceled. I am so frustrated with this service. Poor communication. Unbothered staff, I had a patient help me to get some water. I asked to speak to someone else but he didnβt sign post me and didnβt give me his name Patients should not be treated like this, with so much disrespect.

All patients be warned it is an absolute nightmare getting through to them on the phone and note especially after 4 pm as the ultrasound team apparently donβt have a receptionist after 4 pm. They also have a habit of giving you appointment slots only at awkward times where you are going to get stuck in traffic in the morning or in the late afternoon and if youβre late they wonβt see you especially if itβs around 5/6pm because they just want to go home Also the address instructions on the text message are not clear it is the2nd exit / entrance for the Merlin Centre not the first one if youβre coming off the motorway. This place is a shambles run poorly from since day one as you can clearly see from the reviews

Cancelled a referral by the doctor but didn't bother to tell me so I was still waiting for the booked phone call! They told me the doctors were told and the doctors should have told me. The doctor said Practice Plus should have. There is lost communication, they don't try to move your problem forward or get you better. I'm fed up with it. How can a doctor possibly not be able to refer you to orthopaedics without a physiotherapist's say so?!

The service from this place gets worse. Got sent a letter for an appointment today to arrange booking in an appointment. They called me today as per the letter to say we have no appointments call us back in 3 weeks!! Talk about wasting tax payers money. If you just booked an appointment instead of sending a letter for a call to book an appointment. So ridiculous. At least the commissioners are aware

I have given Practice Plus Group Diagnostics 5 Stars for the following 6 reasons and for the outstanding level of service received during my visit to them. 1 The level of services provided by the receptionist to the doctors was very professional and caring. I was referred by my GP for an Chest XRay and my experience at the Practice Plus Group Diagnostic Merlin Centre branch was memorable. All the staff I have come across have been very kind, caring and passionate at what they was doing. 2 The premises is large and I found it to be clean, tidy and good hygiene levels during my visit. Each of the appointment rooms are well equipped and the right machines. They have a large waiting area where social distance measures are put in place with hand sanitizers, face masks also provided. All the signage was clear and readable near the front entrance main waiting area. 3 PPE All staff wear PPE from face masks, to gloves and other accessories needed. They also have a temperature hand machine and several hand sanitizers stands at the Practice Plus Group Centre. 4 Parking They have 4 to 5 Disabled parking spaces right near the main entrance and they also have about 30 to 35 free car park spaces for all the patients who are attending for their appointments. I had no difficulties finding a parking space as normally its very difficult to find a parking space at hospitals, surgeries or health care centres. PPG had plenty of spaces. 5 The receptionists are lovely, very friendly and welcoming when dealing with appointment enquiries. I have spoken to several of their receptionists and I could see how passionate they were in dealing with my appointment and the level of service I received was excellent. 6 My appointment was made by Cressex Health Centre who is my local GP. They made the referral and the PPG had arranged appoint very quickly. I was very impressed with the level of care and support during my visit to the PPG. I highly recommend Practice Plus Group to friends and family as they see NHS Patients and also Private Patients.
