   We attended the Mayor's Charity Appeal Concert in November 2024. It was a great evening. This was my first visit to Thornden Hall and it was a very pleasant experience. The toilets were clean, which is important to me. The staff were friendly.

   A nicely built multipurpose auditorium. Used for a range of performances including orchestra, dance Etc. Comfortable seating and easy access. Reachable by bus or a car very easily as well. Good acoustics and good lines of sights from seats. Recommended!

   Overall view, comfort and seating plan is good. Nice and normal and what you would expect. I do feel that some small handrails at the end of each isle would be helpful. I saw some of the elderly attendees almost trip and stumble up and down the steps. One older man almost fell on the bottom step but stablised himself with his stick. This reason is why it isn't a 5*

   Great little intimate venue. Set in a school grounds. Ample free parking on site. Small bar area, so best to pick your times - as it can get busy. The sound for the Big Big Train warm up gig was excellent.
