Nice venue, clean throughout, good dance floor. Kitchen is well equipped if you need it. Just watch out for the 3 hour parking limit in the car park.
Wonderful facility in Ch Ford. Scout hut, sports facilities, tennis courts, playing fields, village hall with several function rooms. Good off-street parking, but it gets busy.
We attended the dog show 2024 yesterday organised by Libby and it was absolutely fabulous. I couldn't fault it. I entered my own dogs and the boarding dogs and they all enjoyed it. Such a fun and professional atmosphere. We will definitely be there at the next one. I don't think it could have gone any better especially as the first one.
Good one with lots of space for various activities. There was durga puja recently organised by a local group there. Absolutely fantastic to see different cultural activities.
I performed a magic show and kid's disco here as Adam The Magic Music Man. I have performed here many times before and I always find it a good venue for children's parties.
Nice community Hall. We went for dancing. A great group led by Bret who is very welcoming.
We finished the function nearly and after helping wrap up (so most crowd had left), came out the doors at 1030 on 25th to find raucous group of young-ish kids smoking and with beers in their hand. With cat calls, shouts of 'Go' and whoops following us we hurried to the car park. It was a scary few minutes in the dark and put a dark sheen on a wonderful evening spent at the community centre. The community centre is nice, well organised parking, clean hall and toilets, enough facilities with projector and chairs. There are two halls with the larger one holding more than 150 people seated capacity including a stage and green room style entrance and exits.
Enjoyed a lot as we came to celebrate the Durga Puja. Thank you Organizing committee.
I run a ceilidh series here: SHOCC Dances; as a hirer of the excellent hall. The hall is modern and well equipped. The venue is well run and the committee members are very helpful.
