After 3 knee surgeries I never thought that I would be able to squat or run again. After some time with Rachel and Roz, I was pleasantly surprised to be dead wrong. I have since completed a 5K in sub 20 minutes and squatted 140 for sets. I am extremely grateful for their help and would thoroughly recommend their services.
6 weeks before a marathon i went to see Sophie as i was having really bad knee pain. she diagnosed IT band syndrome. she gave me some exercises to do and i had 2 further appointments with her. Yesterday I ran the marathon pain free, not my fastest time but still comfortably sub 4hr.

She was amazing - she quickly understood my twofold issues with back pain and post-operation recovery after a meniscus surgery. From the very first session, she quickly grasped my problems and advised the perfect treatment plan. Thanks to her expertise, I was able to avoid back surgery. I strongly recommend the Abbey Clinic to anyone in need of top-notch physiotherapy care.
I have had treatment for a lower back problem at Abbey clinic from Gillian Morgan. The treatment and help I have received has been outstanding. Her knowledge and expertise have enabled me to gain strength and to become much more active. I have also had sports massage from Bex who is a very proficient and knowledgeable practitioner. All the staff are friendly and the receptionists are always pleasant and helpful.
I have been going to the Abbey Clinic for two years or so. For physio appointments I always see David Bevan who came highly recommended by a consultant and for good reason. David is highly professional and also a very nice person. I feel that I always get the best care. Bex gives me a sports massage and I can also highly recommend her. The ladies at reception are always friendly and approachable.
Rachel has been helping my son with his rehab after his ACL surgery and has been brilliant with him. Highly recommended
I was referred to Abbey Clinic 3 years ago by an orthopaedic surgeon and was recommended to try Apos therapy. I have been absolutely delighted with the results and have avoided the need for surgery. Stiffness and soreness in my joints has been considerably reduced. I cannot recommend the specialists at Abbey Clinic highly enough
I would highly recommend the Abbey Clinic for the treatment I received before and after I needed a new hip. Before my first operation I was treated and given exercises to do which I am sure helped my recovery. I did then later need a full hip replacement and I know that my speedy recovery after the second operation was due to the support and treatment that I received. Since having my new hip, I have done a 60 km and 100 km cycle ride for charity, before embarking on these events I sort advise from the team at the clinic. If fact having a new hip has been a life changing experience, I am much fitter than I have been for years and this I am sure due to the different exercise programs and recommendations I have been given. I still see the physios at the clinic regularly to make sure I am on the right path; they have taught me to listen to my body and make exercise part of my life. Thanks Abbey Clinic.
I have used the Abbey clinic for many years to treat a number of different injuries. The setting is peaceful and inspiring and reception is always efficient but very friendly. Assessment is comprehensive and the treatment is multi tooled, using all the considerable resources at the clinic's disposal.
I have been attending sessions for three weeks at The Abbey Clinic and I cannot praise enough the warmth and kindness that I experience each time I visit. The consultations have been so much help in coping with problems in my life and have given me an inner strength to deal with issues when I am alone. The staff in reception remember my name when I visit and I am made to feel like an individual. I have felt empowered after my appointments and I would like to recommend the clinic to everyone as they are all brilliant and lovely in what they do.
