Lovely little wacky and the one staff member we interacted with was lovely - HOWEVER, the cleanliness was extremely concerning. I used to come here as a child myself so now to be able to bring my own daughter 25 years later was lovely to do! The ball pit balls were FILTHY!!! Genuinely BLACK GRIME all over them. Hasn’t seen a deep clean or replacement balls since the day it opened its doors. Very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness and won’t be returning for that reason. I have just seen other reviews over cleanliness to see the replies stating it is being cleaned by in-house staff and outside contractors - I really do think it’s time to replace the balls before children start getting really ill from coming here.

Wonderful visit, I took my children to the wacky warehouse and we also had breakfast, service was impeccable. Even when busy service was still fast, food was well cooked and Becky did fantastic job of service for both the wacky and the main pub area.

We have started to visit regularly with our 17 month old granddaughter. She has an absolutely fantastic time. We visit on weekdays, when older children are at school, and she has plenty of space to play and is with other simular age children. She is on the go the whole time. The staff are lovely. Very welcoming, polite, very informative and nothing seems too much for then. They genuinely seem to want you to have the best experience and for the children to have as much fun as possible. The coffee is very nice and plenty of room in the seating area. Very convenient to have a very clean toilet and baby changing area in the same room. We will continue to visit regularly and to recommend to our friends.

It was my first visit here to the wacky warehouse with my kids. They had a great time. The prices are really reasonable and the kids had a great time.

Shocking service. Shocking food, luke warm. Hour and a half wait for the food despite having a table booked. Building cold. 1 member of staff on the bar. Told the wait was because they had a lot of "walk ins". Surely the booked tables should take priority???? Gravy cold, conjealed and full of lumps

It's inside the Millhouse. they charge 4 quid to enter the play bit, I think you have to pay even if you have had a meal. My child seemed to like it in there. The food seems fine for pub food. Could do with larger fish though. Very relaxed in the week with offers on food.

I went for breakfast again and it was lovely can't wait to sit outside in the summer by the water with dog and have burger and a beer. Kids under 12 will love the indoor play area.

Arrived for our booking with a child. Booked for a table and the whacky warehouse so we could eat and play. We waited at the entrance and was ignored by pretty much every waiting staff in there until Charlotte I think who was incharge of the whacky centre came over and spoke to us. We were then told that what we had booked wasn't right and that they had updated their system and we only had booked a session in the wacky warehouse. Got this sorted in the end. Ordered food on the app as seemed easier. Had a waitress come over and state that something we had ordered wasn't available but didn't give any alternatives for this and would have to speak to someone. To that we just asked for a refund. Food wasn't something to rave about but I guess it's cheap and cheerful. Won't be rushing back.

Really cold inside get some heating in the area next to the kids play area it is far to cold to sit people that are eating in this area. Think where you are sitting people aswell - tables of adults don't particularly want to be seated in the children's area especially when they have booked months in advance. Stop people from using the exit door in the children's area it is toooooo cold for people to leave the door open ( fine in the summer) Sadly staff don't seem to know about what they sell at the bar - Totally understand that everyone has to learn but they do need people to teach them and I guarantee you will take more money!! Overall far better value for money and atmosphere at other pubs in Burton, I would sadly not recommend this place (and its local to me)
