Excellent care and friendly service from the receptionist & the nurse. I've been in pain & poorly with a severe sore throat unable to get an appointment with my GP or any help all week. I used the Reading walk in centre as my last resort this morning because I didn't know what to do. I was given an appointment within a couple of hours and seen quickly and now feel relieved to have the medication needed to hopefully get better. Thank you.

Never able to get any appointment. Always advised to call at 8 a.m. but lines are never available. What's the point of GP service if you can not see one. Only positive is whenever I get an appointment (if at all) doctors are really nice.

Yesterday evening I went to the walk in clinic because of an allergic reaction which I was already on antibiotics for and had severely worsened that day. I decided not to clog up the A&E dept, (which is next door to where I live) and use the walk in clinic. I arrived around 6.40pm and it closes at 8pm. I explained to the receipt what the issue was only to be told it was no longer a walk in clinic and I didn’t have an appointment. I asked if I could make an appointment and she said “there’s none left”. I gestured to the one person sitting in the waiting room and said “there’s still over an hour before closing. You can clearly see the state of my face, I’m in much discomfort, can I please see someone”. I was told to go outside and call an ambulance, they couldn’t help me. I was very upset and shocked at this uncaring attitude. After some more conversation with the nurse and the receptionist I left the building without any medical professional helping me. When medically trained staff will not help someone in need you know the country is in a terrible mess.

Our family have been a patient here for a very long time. Every time we have had to call them they’ve been incredibly rude. The doctors and nurses are amazing and always polite! The receptionists are always acting as if you’re an inconvenience. It seems like the receptionists have great fun with patients who need help or making fun of them.

I have been a patient here for a very long time. Every time I have had to call them they’ve been incredibly rude. The doctors and nurses are amazing and always polite! The receptionists are always acting as if you’re an inconvenience. Can they please provide training on proper customer service! The worst GP, I’d move elsewhere if I could just because of the receptionists. For other people wanting to register, find somewhere better.
