I moved to this surgery after my second child was born, following a disappointing experience with my previous practice who refused to see my 4-day-old baby with a sticky eye because he wasn’t yet registered. My Health Visitor was horrified and recommended Chapel Row, and I’m so glad she did. From the very first visit, the service has been second to none. The nurse who carries out the vaccinations is absolutely wonderful – warm, kind and so caring. She recently gave my 2-year-old her flu vaccination and was just as lovely as ever; my daughter felt instantly at ease with her. I’ve also had to call about my 6-month-old, and despite ringing after the usual appointment slots had gone, we were seen within the hour. Two professionals checked him over thoroughly and the care he received was excellent. The reception team are equally fantastic – always polite, helpful, and welcoming, never making you feel like a nuisance. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Chapel Row highly enough. The whole team goes above and beyond, and I feel so reassured knowing my family’s care is in such good hands.
We have had to call the surgery a few times over the last couple of weeks for my daughter and the entire surgery from the receptionist right through to the nurse, paramedic and the doctors have been incredible! They have squeezed us in a couple of times at really short notice! Today I called at 5.50pm the surgery saw us at 6.10pm! You just don’t get that kind of service anywhere else! After hearing friends complaining they can’t even get an appointment at other surgery’s it makes us realise just how lucky we are! The receptionists are always polite, super helpful and nothing is too much trouble! The doctors and paramedic are thorough, kind, caring and explain everything again nothing is too much trouble! We ended up having to go to hospital and whilst at the hospital I was struggling to get answers on something so I called the surgery who despite us being at the hospital at the time of the call went out of their way to help us and get the answers we needed! I know it’s not normal behaviour ringing your doctors whilst in hospital but that is how incredible they are and how they have all made us feel that they really are there for us no matter what! I don’t give reviews often but they really do deserve some sort of recognition! They are the best surgery around
I rarely attend my doctors as they never seemed interested in my health issues. When i do contact them via the website i get contacted fairly quickly then get fobbed off even when i explain my situation they ask on the forms what u think is causing your problem hang on am i diagnosing myself here. Im fed up with this surgery after years and years of being ignored sent home with no care for how my medical issue affect my daily life
We reluctantly had to change to this surgery last year because we moved outside the area covered by our previous doctors. I have a number of health issues which were always dealt with swiftly and competently, and I was concerned that this level of service would not follow me to Chapel Row Surgery. I could not have been more wrong. I cannot praise the service highly enough and from my own experience, I would recommend this practice without hesitation.
Phoned early afternoon, offered an appt. same day. Dr 'phoned later as could deal with my issue over phone. Collected prescription later in day. Excellent service from Dr & dispensary staff.
Phoned 111 for emergency. 111 Asked them if I could go there as this was my old doctors. Got a call from 1 person saying to come in no a problem. 5 mins later got another call from someone else cancelling my appointment. Was very rude. the message u sent was not true. I told 111 that I've moved. Yes your staff was rude. I didn't put the phone down at all.
Great service. Needed to be seen today. Receptionist was really proactive in getting me an appropriate appointment. When I was seen I had a thorough review lasting over 30 minutes by GP and nurse practitioner. Was able to collect prescription within 10 minutes. Thank you.
The doctors are very thorough, and listen to what you have to say. They get blood tests done in no time, and there’s usually always fast appointments.
I am new to this surgery and my first impressions are great. They are very friendly and professional. There website is very helpful and easy to use. If you need to see a doctor you will get to see one!
