   I discovered this place from recommendations on a local group after having back spasms. Being a hairdresser this is sadly a command reality. Firstly when it came to booking I loved how under sports massage it can include a variety of techniques, (which I've never seen before!) this definitely made booking easier, less worry over booking the right treatment. On the day Tia was amazing! She had a thorough consultation with me, and examined me, as she shared best course of treatment for the session. I decided on acupuncture that she recommend, after explaining the difference and benefits. I've booked in again for another issue (jaw related) I instantly had trust and confidence in her and will be a regular to Tia!

   Highly recommend. Never having been to a Chiropractor before I made an appointment online and met with Felicity who was, and still is nothing short of amazing. Very reassuring, understanding and very friendly, Felicity in particular has some great techniques and has helped me so much recovering from my back injury. The service was reflected by everyone in the practice and it is a lovely place that is clean, smells great and is a pleasure to visit.

   I discovered 1st Chiropractic Centre when in need of an experienced sports masseur, and found their easy online booking system allowed me to fit appointments in around a busy dance teaching schedule. When I was first greeted by a lovely team and super clean professional environment, I knew I'd be returning many times. Tom is brilliant, very knowledgeable and helpful for all my fitness ailments, as well as using acupuncture when needed and even advising me and adapting with a long term bout of vertigo. He will always explain when /where muscle tensions are, demonstrating an understanding of the daily toil my job and hobbies bring, plus is friendly and takes the time to ensure the appointment follows on from any previous. I'd 100% recommend him and the lovely friendly team there.

The whole process, from initial assessment to the current stage of my recovery, has been professional, supportive, and extremely informative. I felt heard and confident in their treatment plan.    Very friendly people. Very welcoming. Physio Tia has helped me get through my Windemere swim despite my lower back problems. I couldn’t have done it without her help.Thankfully following up with easing bad aches and pains in my neck, shoulder and back from my bike riding spinning and keepfit sessions. She is very understanding and very willing to discuss my sports activities. Giving advice as and when I need it. I’m 76! She’s keeping me going. Thanks Tia.

   Every visit has been characterised by both pleasure and relief! Emma has treated my daughter for back pain, releasing her from a debilitating condition, and helped me to navigate changes in my body, most recently easing the symptoms of arthritis in my hand. I had forgotten what fluency & ease of motion I used to enjoy. Emma’s practised, holistic and compassionate approach worked to bring back comfortable movement and I am practically evangelical in my praise & recommendation of this place.

   This was the first time I had experienced a back problem. OK when seated - OK when moving but the transition between the two was excruciating. I had to resort to a walking stick. After a couple of days trying to see a doctor I decided to try a chiropractor and I was so glad I did. After the first session I was out of pain although it took a few more sessions to sort me out completely. Everyone at the practice was so helpful and supportive and Dan, my chiropractor, was brilliant. I can't recommend them highly enough. Just outstanding.

A special mention for Ellie Bulman who keeps me pain free and as well as that her friendly, approachable manner and good sense of humour makes every visit worth it.    Favourite part of my year coming to this place! The staff is really friendly, welcoming and helpful. My chiropractor is Ellie and from my first session she was amazing! Made my back feel so much better, talked me through everything she was doing and gave me homework to help out. Now seeing Ellie is such a laugh and a relief from back pain. She's always there by email and happy to book in an in-between session if you need it. I've recommended her to everyone I know!

   In the run up to running my my first two marathons I saw Tom as I had some niggles. He gave me great advice and exercises to strengthen my legs, while helping ease my aches with sports massage and acupuncture. As someone who has been very injury prone, its testament to Tom's great work that I made it through all my training and both marathons (which were within 3 weeks of each other) completely injury free. Not only is Tom great at what he does, he's a top bloke and I would highly recommend him. I'll definitely be requiring his help again when I start my next marathon prep.
