Always get a good service from all staff. Receptionists are friendly and do their best to help. I like the new system of completing a form, saves so much time on the phone and my issue was resolved promptly with a phone call from the Doctor within a couple of hours of submitting my form. I have blood tests every 3 months and don’t have an issue getting an appointment for that and the Nursibg staff are always friendly and helpful.

This provider has transitioned from a live 8:00 AM telephone triage system to a digital form-based intake process. Current turnaround times for form review may exceed 24 hours. This delay introduces potential risk in urgent care scenarios. Despite contractual obligations, the clinic appears to operate with insufficient GP staffing levels. This may be attributed to underestimated administrative overheads and prioritization of cost efficiency over patient safety. The most recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) report is significantly outdated. This lack of current oversight may contribute to ongoing service deficiencies. Face-to-face consultations are not routinely offered. Based on observed capacity and service delivery, the clinic is unable to adequately support its registered patient base. Recommendation: Alternative providers should be considered

I've had it with this place. If you're lucky enough to win the 0800 phone derby, the chances of you following that up with a face-to-face appointment are pretty much zero. Cerberus gatekeeps here, none shall pass to Hades. I've lost count of how many times they've made a mess of my prescriptions and I've been left unwell because of it, I was laughed-at while facing the prospect of spending the rest of my life in a wheelchair or worse, the staff are often completely devoid of empathy, humanity or maths skills, some random person changed my prescription with no consultations, prescriptions will often not make it to the chemist, and today's final nail in the coffin - being left with unsuitable meds after major surgery, courtesy of 'not a doctor'. I already had low expectations - I was treated by the military, after all - and this surgery consistently fails to meet them. They get one star, because the one doc I did see in person was really nice - even if I did have to call 111 to see her. I'm off. Jumping ship; and I suggest you, the good folks of Tilehurst don't even try to get on board. Seriously, go elsewhere, try leeches or a frog poultice, or something - just not this place.

I went to the surgery on Thursday, for a blood test. The receptionists are brilliant at their job.very helpful. They have a hard job to do. Because I don’t drink an enough water. .the nurse Adrian was very nice to me to finish the water l was drinking. It’s a very good surgery. They are going the best they can. It’s not their fault.

I moved to the practice during Covid & it works for me. Flu, Covid & other jabs have been well organised. I have had a few on line sessions with the doctors which were all that I needed & I was able to book on line. Also had a session with the physio which has made a great difference. The reception staff have always been helpful & polite.

It is quite difficult to get appointments and they are not empathetic at all!! The staff looks like they are not happy helping people. It is absolutely disappointments the interactions with them. It has been like that for a long time.

It's just impossible to communicate with them. By 0840 all of the appointments for the day are gone and there are 17 people in the telephone queue ahead of me. It takes days for them to respond to e-mail. A private business operating like this would be in serious trouble. TVS seriously needs to invest in a CRM system and join the current decade.

Rude staff, they have no sympathy, even if you want an appointment next year you have to ring up at 8am! If you try any other time the call doesn't go through. I've been to the doctors 3 times about one problem and they say the same thing and can't be bothered to take me seriously or to see a specialist, this has gave me high anxiety about ringing them again for the 4th time with the same problem would could be easily fixed if someone was to actually see me and not guess over the phone. This surgery has been a let down for years and continues to disappointment, not just me and my family but many others. I am leaving.

Swapped to this GP from Western Elms as they're much closer to me and wish I hadn't. Only do telephone appointments which is pointless. When they do call - you'll be lucky if it rings more than twice then be told you have to rebook another day. Mr Jude (Doctor) is incredible sarcastic and rude. We're also still awaiting a response from a complaint from 6 months ago (which we sent twice) to their GP manager after they lost my blood test alongside a number of other issues. Completely incompetent, and seem completely unaware and ignorant of their failings when they're supposed to provide a duty of care.
