While the kids may love it, Tot City is sadly a bit of a let down. It doesn't feel like any love or care has been put into making the office space kid friendly. The steps in are very difficult to navigate with a pushchair, the fencing upstairs is crude and unsecure, there's no hand washing facilities at the baby change, the staff are sullen and the play area is rundown and tired. Plus, it's very expensive for what it is (£7.50 for a 1.5 hour session at the weekend). Obviously it's a money making operation but the pricing feels greedy, especially given how little effort seems to have gone into the place.

After a few good sessions at Salisbury Tot city, today I felt we were being rushed. The staff started to tidy up 40 min before the session ended. I paid for my child to have free play time for 2 hrs. Noticed staff asking children not to hold the furniture, because it could fall, however, is this not meant to be secured to the walls?!

After a lovely visit earlier this year we booked a VIP party for my daughter's 5th birthday here and it was fantastic! The staff were great, very helpful and welcoming. The play area itself is fab with several themed rooms as well as the street with cars, houses and a building site. Plenty to do - the children absolutely loved it, there was something for everyone no matter their play style. Leon was great with arranging the party for us, very accommodating and made it very easy and hassle-free for us. The cafe and seating area is perfect for parents whilst the children play, and the party room looked fantastic! Can't recommend enough!

I’ve been to the one in Andover but was keen to try the Salisbury one as it’s a little closer to us. It was brilliant! My 3 year old twins had an amazing time and it’s perfect for their growing imagination. It was clean and tidy and so brilliantly laid out. Plenty for them to do and keep them occupied. The girls working there were really friendly and efficient and despite it being busy it all ran really smoothly. Really happy it lived up to expectations

One of my daughter's favourite places to go. Every time we go there seems to be new things to play with and it's wonderful seeing her imagination set free. It's very safe and secure so I feel confident letting her go off and explore without me while I enjoy a coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely, friendly place to take the youngsters for 1.5 hours of play. Lots of role play for older kids and plenty of other toys for the younger ones to use. Food and drink available. For grandparents on grandbaby duties, lol, it's great.

I would not recommend Totcity Salisbury. Have you improved the gate so children can’t get out the room down the stairs and on to the street? Will you change the steps to a ramp? Is there a sink in the baby change yet to wash hands after changing nappies? Is there a stairgate by the toilets yet to prevent children from going down the back stairs? Have you still got a line of chairs fencing off a bit? Are you going to change the windows to tilt and turn so no one can fall out? I did address these concerns in an email but no reply yet. I genuinely don’t think you are ready to be open as a children’s venue when it still feels like an office space.

We absolutely love Totcity. After going to the Andover branch they've opened one in Salisbury and we're in toddler heaven. Having been to other similar places I can definitely say this is the best. Cleanest, most affordable, tidy with lovely role play toys and accessories whilst remaining unfussy and relaxed. Their coffee is really really good too. A great range of snacks and they're still improving each time we go! This time they've added toasties to their menu and I can see a climbing frame emerging in the corner! So excited to have this in our town. You're amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
