Screen 3 was a very disappointing experience. The sound system quality was poor, and the hall had an unpleasant smell. It’s not suitable for watching Telugu movies, especially when audio clarity and atmosphere are so important. If this doesn’t improve, we’ll avoid watching future Telugu films here. I love watching Telugu movies. I watched OG at the Derby Showcase Cinema in the XLR screen, and it was a very nice experience. However, I have watched other movies in different screens, and Screen 3 is completely the worst experience. The sound is not good, the seating is uncomfortable, and it doesn’t feel like a proper theatrical experience. If any future Telugu movie is shown in Screen 3, we will not visit Derbion Showcase Cinemas.

Plenty of legroom and the showing was half empty, so a very relaxing experience. Had some tasty popcorn and the self- served drink was good. Ticket prices seem quite reasonable at the moment and the film was great! There are self-service booking stations or you can purchase tickets at the food counter.

Don’t bother if you are hard or hearing or deaf. Despite the website stating that “all our cinemas are equipped with loop system if required” my husband has never been able to enjoy a movie here as the loops system “doesn’t exist” and staff advise “never heard of it”. Will move to more accommodating cinema in the future. I would like to add that the staff themselves were lovely and the cinema itself has always been fine, clean and tidy. The accessibly services are severely lacking and that is the sole reason for this review as prevented us going as a family.

Watched Mine Craft and now Lilo and Stitch (real life) with the kids and loved it! The venue was clean and the staff were friendly. The cinema is huge with plenty to offer. There's a bar which I assume, is open in the evening, again adding to the experience. The seats are comfy and there's a bit of movement on the back suggesting a slight recline. We bring our own drinks and snacks as I simply can't justify the prices they charge at any cinema.

EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER WAS SOOOO RUDE! We usually go to our local cinema but decided to try out the derby showcase as a treat. We regretted it within about 3 minutes of being there. The girl who served us had 0 customer service skills as she was rude, no manners, didn’t even crack a smile, she was abrupt and actually all of us just wanted to leave after speaking to her (and would of if we didn’t already have our tickets). We then went over to the male and female who were checking tickets and advising of where to go. The gentleman advised we had the wrong ticket. We were confused as we had just purchased them at the kiosk’s. He just seemed uninterested and very unhelpful and sent us to go and luck for the ‘barcode part’. We hadn’t been to this cinema before so we didn’t know the machine printed 2 tickets out. Then they kind of whispered and laughed as we walked away. We were tempted to speak to a manager (gentleman who was walking around scanning the place with some kind of ear piece on) he avoided our eye contact and literally looked like the most unapproachable person on the planet at this point. For real, this needs addressing because it was a bad experience for us from the moment we got there. Luckily the “actual cinema experience” once we were seated was pleasant but the customer service in this place is APPALLING!

Firstly Didn't ask any white people their age? As I'm brown they asked me for my age. That's racist then was told to go to the manager And then wouldn't let us watch the movie because of the age restrictions. Like we all can literally watch this illegally with under 12 Yr old. I don't see the point of it being age restrictions. Everyone seen everything. And wouldn't refund us. Just gave a emergency ticket. Not like we want it. Worst experience ever

Smart cinema. Standard (ie eye wateringly expensive) prices for drinks and snacks. Screen and sound quality was excellent. However, star knocked off as we paid extra for a leather chair. Sadly, it was awful. Uncomfortable and left me with an aching back for days. Will stick to the normal fabric chairs in future.
