   We bought a two seater recliner from this branch of HSL in December and it is so comfortable! We started our journey to find a sofa in October, starting with HSL. The frontage of the shop is quite narrow, but the store goes back a long way and actually holds a good variety of different chairs and suites. The staff are really friendly and helpful and they know their products well. But they are not at all pushy and so we just spent our time sitting for a while in various chairs until we found the model we liked. HSL are not at the ‘cheap’ end of this market. We decided to visit a number of the other large furniture stores in the Hedge End area and sat in a lot of sofas. Whilst we found cheaper, we did not find anything as comfortable as what we found at HSL We are so glad we chose this settee; it is comfortable, supportive and also looks good in our lounge. We would certainly recommend this company and the Hedge End branch.

   I visited the Hedge End store to purchase a recliner and possibly an arm chair. It was raining when I pulled up, I went to open my car door and a smiling Kim was there to greet me with an umbrella! Kim and Rob were fabulous, so knowledgeable, no pressure and answered all my questions. They sent me away with a full brochure and sample Swatch to measure up. Two days later I went bank with my daughter, I was delighted to see Rob and Kim again. They remembered me and welcomed me into the store. My daughter and I spent time sitting on chairs and discussing my options. Kim and Rob were super helpful when we had questions, they were not pushy at all. After sitting on a number of sofas (and having a wonderful coffee made by Rob) I left the store very happy with my order - 2 arm chairs, a recliner and a three seat sofa! So much more than I'd intended to buy but the quality is superb. Kim and Rob jade the entire experience stress free and enjoyable. I did not feel rushed and was under no pressure to buy. I'd highly recommend this company and in particular the Hedge End branch!

   From the moment we walked through the door we had a brilliant buying experience. Kim our sales lady knew straight away which chairs would be the best fit for the two of us. She made us feel at home,even made us tea and coffee while we made our decision. Couldn't have enjoyed it more.

   We purchased a 3 piece suite including 2 riser recliner chairs just under 5 years ago. Unfortunately we can now feel the wooden frame through the upholstery particularly on the arms of the chairs which of course makes the chairs quite uncomfortable. We have contacted the company who told us that the foam used in the chairs only lasts approximately one year. For the price we paid this is totally unacceptable. Do not buy these sub standard products.

   Superb, absolutely superb! From the moment we entered the store, to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. The staff were AMAZING! Great care was taken with measurements to ensure the chair was an ideal fit. Bed was tested and the information given to help assist us with bad back issues was spot on. Coffee and tea... with biscuits such service. Highly recommended and an absolute joy to have been treated so lovely. Oh and great reading material.... here's a fact... did you know woodlice are bisexual? Nope, me either until I visited here and read the book on animal biology! So, worth a visit even for the knowledge I gained. Mandy x

   After nearly three years the control on a riser/recliner chair became difficult to operate. With a phone call lasting seconds a polite staff member said "I see it's still under warranty, I'll send a new one." It arrived within two days.

   Bought a cosy armchair here. The lady staff were absolutely amazing, so patient. Three hours it took us to decide and still they were both smiling. Plus, they both told us as it was a lot of money to go home and think about it so the pleasant afternoon was not all about grabbing a sale! The price was unbelievable but that's not their fault. Coffee and biscuits as well.
