    Extremely disappointed with Sofology! My family and I purchased a sofa and armchair guaranteed for before Christmas delivery. We were messed about for weeks. In store staff members claimed it will be here before Christmas while customer support saying it’s not possible, this was all very disappointing as we were hosting family. Do yourselves a favour and don’t believe these people if they guarantee something and honestly buy from somewhere else, you would find it a lot cheaper and hassle free.

    Now into our 3rd week of trying to get our refund after no finance documentation. Whilst the store have said they will issue a full refund their customer relations or whoever they are don’t bother to read notes, return calls, refund my money. So 3 weeks on and they still have my deposit. Next step legal action as clearly they have no intention of refunding my money. Don’t waste your time with this company I have better things to do with my time than chase them everyday and have to give a bad review. Melanie Muir from head office never returns calls or emails what a joke!

    The purchase experience has two sides: what initially attracts you and what you ultimately choose after gathering information from the site. The first side is the passive presentation β€” the decoration, interior design, and variety of products. Personally, after visiting six different shops, I would give this place five stars. Although this aspect of shopping has a significant impact, it needs to be complemented by an active catalyst that facilitates decision-making for potential buyers. This second side requires knowledgeable sales assistance β€” someone who can guide you through the wide range of products, connect the dots, and help you reach the right decision. I met Andy, who was absolutely lovely and truly an asset to the company. He allowed us to compare different products, was patient with our scattered minds, and always available to help.

    I was really pleased to find a lovely sofa that was on display for sale, and even more pleased when a lovely sales assistant gave me an excellent deal on it, but the range was being discontinued. I bought it straight away and was told it would be wrapped up and put away that day, which then changed to the following day because it was a Sunday, fair enough, I thought. This was on the 7th September, and I was told delivery would be the first week of October. I was told I couldn't just pick it up myself, as it had to all be handled by the company. All that was ok as I needed time to decorate and find homes for my other sofas. I called for an update at the end of September so I could plan a rehoming date for my other sofas and was told the sofa and footstool I bought was STILL ON DISPLAY (for everyone to sit on) and would be until it was collected today (the 6th Oct), ready for delivery 2-3days after this. Obviously I was pretty horrified by this, the almost Β£2k worth of goods bought could now look very different after all those people sitting on them but I was reassured they were still looking good and they would put a sign up to ask people not to sit there. Anyway, today came, I have rehomed one of my sofas, and the other one is to be collected on the 8th. Sofology did call me as promised, but the earliest delivery given is the 3rd week of October, not the first. With the excuse that because it's nearly Christmas, they are busy, Christmas is over 2.5months away! I asked to speak to a manager, and the woman casually said she would raise a ticket for a call back within 72hours. Clearly, she is used to people wanting to complain. Even the hold message when you call them briefs people to be abusive to the staff, like they have to in a hospital full of angry alcoholics, not a sofa store! Of course, I wasn't abusive, but this kind of treatment of people is probably why they need that message! Now I don't trust them at all and I'm dreading what state this sofa is gonna be in.

    Lots of choice, great sofa that had been reduced Β£300. Cat Reeson was very helpful, really knew her stuff and was very helpful. Pressure free sale dealt with very professionally.

    Our sofa isn’t due to turn up for a while but from our experience in store, Sofology were fantastic. Janet was incredibly helpful, and she gave us space and time to discuss between ourselves! She didn’t pressure us at all, and she was very knowledgeable. I’d absolutely recommend Sofology in Hedge End. Can’t wait for our sofa to arrive!
