   My mum had a house fire a few months ago and her kitchen was completely gutted. She visited the Neptune store near Winchester, Hampshire, yesterday, to look for an Everhot oven to replace her Aga that was destroyed in the fire. Everyone in the store was so brilliant and kind. She wanted me to express thanks on her behalf. This has been an incredibly stressful time for her, especially as she has still not been able to move back home as her home is still too damaged. So thank you for giving her time to talk over oven options and for making it such a pleasurable experience for her!

   Over the moon with our new bathroom cabinet - we've waited so long to have it unpacked due to delays on our project as we didn't want it to get damaged but the wait has been definitely worth it. We would like to thank Sam in particular who was super helpful over the phone. He took the time to understand our needs, what colour paint would work with our bathroom lighting best and give really useful advice! The whole experience of ordering with Neptune has been simple and efficient from start to finish and we will look to order again in the future.

   Visited last week. It was impossible to tell the difference between staff and customers (apart from the girl behind the till). We were never approached and asked if we needed help. A man in a striped shirt kept staring at us as if he was wondering what we were doing there and I think he might have been some sort of manager/owner. If you want a friendly welcoming don't visit this branch.

   I purchased a bathroom cabinet. Although it is not made clear, this product is supplied not fully assembled and without either screws for fixing it or instructions on completing the assembly and installation. I could live with that but the patronising and frankly offensive manner of the manager of the Winchester branch will stop me purchasing there again. The product comes with an instruction booklet for other items in the same range which makes no reference to the cabinet in question. He insisted that 'those are the instructions that come with the product' irrespective of the fact that they don't refer to the purchased item. When pushed on the point he was insistent that he felt this was an acceptable level of service because 'those are the instructions that come with the product'. He is not an individual I would ever choose to do business with again
