After being in bed for 3 days as I couldn’t swollow and had feverish symptoms, I decided to call to make an appointment to see a doctor as I suspected tonsillitis, this I had experienced many times as I am now 58. I was told I could not have an appointment and to complete an online assessment in which I had to take a photo of the back of my throat, they told me a doctor would look at the picture and call me back later in the afternoon. The picture was very poor as this was quite a difficult task to do. I was called back by a dr Bunta who was adamant I had not got tonsillitis and to keep taking pain killers for the next 3 days. She would NOT give me an appointment. After putting the phone down to her I then decided I was not happy with the outcome of the phone call and called again to see what the complaints procedure was, I was then passed to a manager Janet Weaver who took my email address to forward the complaints procedure, Janet also informed me if I went to a chemist they could look at me there. I then asked Janet could the chemist proscribe antibiotics, she didn’t know, A doctors and its practice have a duty of care, these lot clearly don’t. I am still waiting for the complaints procedure.i am now Looking to change doctors now, very very disappointed .

Dreadful GP, changed my asthma medication that I'd been on for over twenty years and didn't respond when the new medication didn't work. My partner had a emergency c section and they checked her scar as a phone conversation, no idea how you can check a scar like that. The only way you can talk to a GP is through a phone conversation where they will chastise you for using the NHS and wasting their money by requiring medical care. I used a private service through my work to check up on a non-urgent matter and when it got passed back to the NHS I was accused of committing fraud by doctor Bailey in a highly aggressive manner and received no apology after complaining. Go to the GPs in Kidsgrove they actually have appointments where you can see a doctor and be treated.

Avoid at all costs. They never communicate results to patients and getting a referral sorted or any details takes multiple phones calls and badgering. Rarely call back and delay referrals by issuing letters when they can email the same thing direct to the correct hospital and don’t bother- they prefer to make worried patients run round collecting letters and taking them to the hospital instead. Absolutely awful customer service and the staff just don’t care

I had to join Greenmoss a number of months ago due to moving into the area. My old surgery was brilliant which unfortunately cant be said for Greenmoss. I find most of the staff on reception to be rude and very short, made to feel like your a burden. I have suffered with a condition for months now and have been prescribed a number of drugs without even seeing a doctor once. Nobody ever wants to help me so i decided to have a scan privately which has now shown the issues with my back. I have today seen a doctor at Greenmoss for the first time with my MRI scan report, my experience was terrible i found the doctor rude, blunt, very unhelpful with no compassion for what i have had to endure over the last 4 months. I didnt even get a goodbye on leaving. Thankfully i have now been referred after taking the situation into my own hands. Some really poor reviews on here has just proven i am not the only one who has endured such a bad experience with Greenmoss. I would just like to add the nurse Rachel has been wonderful who i have dealt with for another health matter over the past few months. Update-i have now spoken to Dr Bailey who I haven't dealt with before. He was great, so helpful and explained everything to me very thoroughly. Thank you Dr Bailey.

I have used the surgery for myself and my five children (all now adults ) I have always found the doctors and receptionists very helpful and polite. I have always been seen as and when needed and had excellent advice from all doctors. Dr Bailey is extremely good at dealing with my autistic 23 year old son. On a while I would definitely recommend this practice and I thank all doctors and staff for all their help.

Pharmacy assistant (Steph) is very argumentative, disrespectful and rude, poor people skills. She should not work in a customer facing role, all the other staff are fantastic

Always feel dismissed and not listened to after every phone call with the doctors. Been in reoccurring pain for 18 months in and out of a&e however with clear tests. Always made to feel like i need to get a grip and just take painkillers despite being in excruciating pain. The sister nurses are however lovely!!

Tried to arrange to see a gp to discuss results regarding my heart and the receptionist said they can only offer telephone appointments. On the 2 minute recorded message message it says clearly they 'offer face to face appointments ', but when you ask for that you cannot get one!! Need to change that message I think.

Receptionists bar one are all very very rude and not willing to help. I made a complaint and after this every time I rang for advice for my baby they knew who I was by my phone number. I felt like I had been “blacklisted”. Dr very dismissive and made me feel my parenting was inadequate as I questioned giving my child a covid test. Dr bunte however is very good.
