   Unfortunately this company has put out one of the worst renditions of Dracula i’ve ever seen despite what they falsely advertise on their website. Watched the show tonight at the Pavilion Theatre and the crowd echoed the same sentiment that it was a painful watch. A heckler was actually escorted out midway through the performance and i cant say that anyone disagreed with the sentiment. The actor playing Dracula at the beginning was hugely lacking, made worse when he switched to the character of Van Helsing where he turned into an inaudible version of Sean Connery. The performance of Lucy Westenra/Renfield was hands down the worst of the night. The actress lacked the talent or depth to fill either role and instead delivered flat lines in the same lifeless, monotone voice, the only way you’d know she was playing someone else is if someone called her by a different name. The actor playing Jonathan Harker was difficult to understand at times, he brought occasional comedic relief however that was quickly swept away by his poor attempt at an American accent when switching to Quincey. The show was largely carried by the actors who played Mina, Doctor John/Jack (the cast on stage called him both names much to the audiences confusion), and the actor playing Arthur Holmwood. However, unfortunately when he switched to playing the younger version of Dracula, his accent reflected the love child of Compare the Meerkat Sergei and King Julian. Ultimately i’d save yourself the money and avoid this show. The most moving performance of the night was the man behind me who shouted “you were crap” as the cast came back on for their applause.

   Just watched Dracula performed at the Steven Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. What a brilliant show this was. Gripping from beginning to end. Performers were amazing, the emotion, feelings and tension passed to the audience. The director aldo needs praise, along with sound, lighting and costume. This is the second amazing production we have seen. Can't wait for the next.

   I've just been to see Dracula in Southend on Sea. Blown away ! Marvellous production;script, set, music, lighting and best of all the actors. It must be a very difficult book to stage but the whole crew pulled it off beautifully. It's at another theatre near me soon, I might go and see it again. Thank you ☆☆☆☆☆

   A truly marvellous theatre company with incredibly talented actors. They are currently touring with an updated show of the original Teechers play. Go to see it if you can for a funny, but hard-hitting take on the state of education today.

   My wife and I just saw the truly remarkable Blackeyed Theatre Company perform 'The Valley Of Fear' at Greenwich Theatre on 22nd September 2022 and was amazed by the brilliance of the acting and professional performance. This company is by far the best around in my opinion and should always be appreciated whenever and wherever they perform. Go see and support these excellent actors while you can.
