From planning to installation a very professional and trouble free process. By having bespoke units made we achieved the desired appearance for the kitchen in our cottage which we could not obtain with a 'ready made' product. The joints and fit were/are excellent and the paint finish was faultless. A good job well done.
From beginning to end the quality of service could not have been higher. We ordered a freestanding larder and on arrival it exceeded our expectations. From ordering to delivery it was an extremely relaxing and efficient experience. Then there is the actual piece we wanted! This is a large butcher's trolley that needed to be quite a centrepiece in our glamorous kitchen. Though the style is country, the quality, proportions and finish mean that it will look great with almost any style. We had a wide choice of finishes and colours plus the options of castors and a soft close drawer. We were very happy when we were called to let us know that the trolley was ready several week's earlier than expected - another plus. It is a unique piece, weighs a ton and is always given the wow factor when anyone comes in - plus it is actually amazingly practical and I don't know how I managed before it arrived! Would, 100 percent recommend using John Willies for kitchen furniture. And now have to try to think of another space that needs something......
We recently had a kitchen extension and went for a part-fitted/part freestanding set up. We spent several weeks visiting a few recommended local suppliers of handmade kitchens and the odd national supplier like Fired Earth. The prices were all comparable but for us the quality of craftsmanship in the John Willies units were above and beyond anything else we saw. The guy there, Sam, was excellent - no pressure, patient while we fine-tuned our design, made us feel excited about our project and worked brilliantly with our builder. The care that went into the build of the units is evident as it is in the beautiful paintwork. The fitter was also excellent and completely unfazed by any fitting issues. We love our new kitchen and we would highly recommend J Willies to anyone.
