You could quite easily die waiting here and nobody would even notice . Welcome to the never ending string of waiting rooms where you get moved every couple of hours and nobody ever tells you what is happening .

Have been here three times this week for a allergy test. The rooms are all very clean. You can get lost but lucky friendly people show you the way to go. the first time has been hard to find a parking if you know to go on the queens roads in the parking house number 5&6 to find a space. Make sure you come early these parking spots are famous!

Appalling and disgraceful is not even enough. I went in on Sunday night 10 weeks pregnant with intense cramping and bleeding. While the receptionist and nurse were lovely, I received no help. I sat down for about 3 hours just waiting, was not offered any painkillers even though they knew I was in pain and, when they sent me to the EPU, I was told I would not be scanned until Wednesday because they “don’t have time”. I have gotten worse so I phoned them today, they told me I would need to go to my GP. What is my GP supposed to do!?? Received an answer from them which was “unfortunately you will need to go to A&E, we can’t do anything”. So now I’m just sitting and waiting because no one wants to take responsibility. Embarrassing.

Visited on 12/2/25, 1pm. Had two injuries from couple weeks previous & my GP advised an x-ray. Booked in, primary assessment & secondary assessment within one hour in A&E general waiting room. Then due to the nature of my injury, transferred to see a Doctor in another waiting area. Estimated waiting time that day was 4 hours for a Doctor, then extra time for x-ray & feedback. Hot & cold drinks were offered, biscuits & sandwiches later. Doctor (Will) very professional & kind. Had an X ray after waiting again. All the nursing staff also attentive under very busy & difficult work load. We are lucky to have NHS.

The wait was appalling considering there was 2 people in the waiting room , went in early morning and finally got seen 3 hours and a half later at 5:30am . I was in extreme pain and had to ask for my own painkillers . However once i did see the doctor she was extremely helpful providing me with all i needed .

Absolutly disgusting derogatory service. Refused to let me accompany my autistic partner so she sat there in pain for 4h without so much as a check on her in that time.

Very efficient, smooth running to get in whilst all safety procedures are followed. Quickly located to where I needed to be and seen withington a reasonable time! Parking was good on this occasion and access for wheelchair was good. As with all hospitals at present on problem I find is that disabled toilets only have foot pedal bins to get rid of my clinical waste however I am paralised so how can I open bin? Don get why a handle cant be added to the bin but this is an on going issue

Visited A+E dept. about 2 PM. 23rd. Aug.2019 after injuring my leg when the wooden frame that I was standing on collapsed while I was picking plums. I had expected to be reprimanded for climbing trees at my age, but the staff were mainly helpful and had a sense of humour. Within 30 minuites was seen by a cheerful doctor who diagnosed a torn ligament and advised me how to deal with it.

Canes with chest pain and a lot of pain . After an 12EKG and blood test I had to wait more then 5 hours. I have took painkillers from my own pocket as still I was in bad pain . I was 1st in the list for 2 hours .... . Apparently they have paediatric and adult under the same staff ......horrible waiting list . After a night spent there I have decided at 4 am to go to rest few hours before to call my GP. I have asked about a feedback form from reception and apparently after you see the Dr you might see one :) !!! So I end up with no other suggestion or option . I wasn’t the only one waiting for so long. All night we have been just 3 persons and still at 4 am we where have been seen yet ...!!!! I would not give even a star for the service! Too slow for an emergency department indifferent what is it the reason ! 3 persons waiting all night ....hard to believe that they could not do it !!! The only positive is that the room is clean but even like that no snacks to buy from it during night etc while waiting forever...
