Basil & Crew visited us at Ivybridge Primary School today and what a brilliant time we had. The children really enjoyed their sessions and the animals were absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for a lovely day!
The animals were kept in awful conditions during the Woodley jubilee event. Have reported them for animal exploitation.
Absolutely fantastic! Not just for how beautifully kept the animals were but for the way the farmers were with our school children - it was like they worked with children full time. The effort they made for each child really showed their kind nature and the knowledge they had really helped the children's education for our farm topic. Cannot fault the company in any way. Basil and Crew visited our school to help us deliver our Btec animal care course and were fab they created a bespoke day that perfectly suited our needs, were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, had a lovely relationship with our students (who can be a handful but were super as they were so engaged) and laid back in allowing our students to work with the animals. As a teacher, we are always nervous about the quality of what external groups can offer and have certainly had groups (not farm groups) in the past that have not gone down well. That was not the case with Basil And crew. Obviously the real stars of the visit were Eddie the goat or Marble the donkey..or the lambs, but Pete, Sally and Lizzie were a good back up to the stars!! Thank you, would definitely rebook.
I can't believe that people have previously rated this mobile farm such a low score! We came across this farm at Braywick Nurseries Family day today and what an amazing group of people and lovely animals! The staff were polite, well mannered and so good with the animals at the children. Its a shame a select group of people try to slander such a fantastic company.
