Fantastic place for a gig im never disappointed

Looking a bit tired now but probably outside of the Music Hall and the soulless Teca building then the Lemon Tree is probably the best bet for seeing live gigs in Aberdeen with a decent capacity ( other smaller venues also put on fantastic bands ) Although the sound can be a bit iffy and not for the first time the lights can be a bit of an issue ( 3 times I've been where the band have complained about them ) ..restricted view so make sure you get a decent vantage point . On the other hand the staff are very friendly and there's normally no problem getting served at the bar so 10/10 to them ...

Nice venue for a concert. Good sound and light

  2. Jim Ridland ★★★★★

Excellent venue for live music, well run by a small group of staff.

Lemon tree has survived so far! Long may it be around. Great arts venue. Tonight we attended a stand up comedy show. Comedian was Maisie Adam.

Worst venue in Aberdeen for disabled access. Only place to sit is cramped and a free for all for disabled people I could barely walk when I stood up at the end of my last visit. Manager was very rude when I asked about assistance. I used to love this venue now it seems to be run by a bigot who doesn't want disabled people in their venue. Before all they did was five us a seat near where one of the security stand. This venue is down right dangerous puddles of lager on the access ramp. Well done Aberdeen bon accord obviously doesn't apply to the infirm. It was my favourite band too I hated this venue before due to over dading bouncers trying to start on me if I sat couple of minutes on the stair. I really want to go see the chameleons there but I'm going to have to go elaewhere

Doors late opening due to amount of tickets being printed off, then queue spilt into those with tickets and those collecting. Not ideal. Once in though, sound quality and atmosphere is brilliant. Bar staff doing a great job keeping up with the crowds too.

First time at the Lemon tree. Good venue, good sound. Great band. However, doors opened at 8pm. Queue all the way round to 6 North almost. Why not open the doors earlier then the venue also gets extra revenue fm the bar?

Brilliant venue for gigs and events with big names. Craig Charles with his Soul and Funk nights, and the Doors Tribute band who are eerily like the real thing. Many big names and acts have started off here, including music acts and comedians. They also do lovely little Operas and Theatre for children, to get them used to culture and music. Always beautifully done, and very reasonably priced. You can also get a Play, a Pint and a Pie for a reasonable price. There's a bar, but it's only open when there's an event on. And I love it just the way it is.
