Like all things - there’s good days and bad. But on the positive side this is a lovely surgery. Fortunately, I don’t have to go often but it’s the staff that make this Surgery patient friendly. When my husband was poorly they were amazing and I shall always be grateful to Lesley (and Caroline) for her efficiency, kindness, compassion and empathy.
Ive been coming to Boyatt Wood surgery for many years now but as a parent, the most important times have been when I first brought my daughter at 12 weeks old. Lesley Colins welcomed us in, was kind, caring and genuinely looked after us at every visit. If truth be told, Lesley has been consistently like this for every single visit since including tonight and we are now almost 10 years on!!! Lesley would always take the time to say hello to myself anf my daughter by name and putting my daughter at ease at every visit. Lesley is a wonderful lady who is an asset to the surgery.
My 2 year old daughter was seen today by Bex Whale. She was very calm and caring with her and made her feel at ease throughout the appointment. (made it through the appointment with no tears!) She was very knowledgeable and very reassuring. Thank you. Would highly recommend.
This 5 star review is for Julian Kerr! I have been to see the doctors many times, to be told that they could not see why I was having the issues I was experiencing. One appointment with Julian, and it looks like he may have found the cause! Huge thank you to Julian! What a great asset to Boyatt Wood Surgery.

Both my young daughters have recently been poorly and we were seen on that day and the doctor was brilliant , reception staff helpful and polite - considering how busy they are I never felt rushed and left confident that both girls were checked over throughly .
Avoid at all costs, worst GP practice I have been to. Recently changed surgeries. Rude receptionist, being told by the GP that I need to hurry up being they have other Patients waiting, I was only in there for 5 minutes. I understand the NHS is strained but treat me with some respect. Completely unacceptable. Unfortunately there isn't a 0 star rating.
Reception staff were very helpful and professional. No long waits on the telephone and the best thing of all, they’ve got a great sense of humour. Kindest regards Jeffrey Pickles
"I've been stung by a wasp, my arm is swollen and I can't get the sting out. Can a nurse help me please?" " No! You need to see a Doctor." "Ok! Can I see a doctor please, it's really painful." "You'll have to phone back at 2." Let's hope I'm not allergic. I don't know who the young girl who works there is, but she needs a new job! Maybe not customer facing.
