As someone who was wary beforehand,it was a totally pain free experience.I was put at ease as soon as I went in to arrange the appointment.
Audiologist visits satisfactory but find 99% of time the Assistants who change tubing issue batteries etc are the opposite . Most in my number of experiences at Hanley seem to have a severe lack of deaf awareness and customer interaction skills . Recently one in particular disregarded my knowledge gained from previous visits and necessary return visits to the extent that she lied about the type of tubing she had fitted in my absence using the toilet . Nor did she wait to check if the fitting was accurate and comfortable . Consequently I am going to have to trudge up to Hanley yet again . Not all that easy when you are elderlyvand disabled Having had hearing loss for 40 years and received service from both NHS and charity sector provider RNID this is an unacceptable standard. It shows a lack of training and supervision but I guess the cost would cut into the company profits and upset shareholders.
Very good service at Specsavers Audiologists, at Leek, and the products to date have proved as Iwas told to be correct,and a very friendly chap in attendence,results areoutstanding
My wife required a hearing aid due to deteriorating hearing. The team at Specsavers were amazing in terms of their professionalism, knowledge and ability to reassure my wife. We had been to another high-street specialist and they were ok but cancelled our scheduled appointment without any reason and didn't advise on types of aid available to us. So glad we chose Specsavers and the team there were genuinely so friendly and helpful (Colin has an amazing sense of humour as well)
Audiologists here are very knowledgeable. Arrived at the appointment time, vertically no waiting time, staff are very friendly and helpful regarding aftercare. Five stars from me well done .
Very helpful lady changed the tubes on my hearing aids that kept getting caught on my glasses when I took them off to clean them leading them to come out of my ears and almost trodden on. Will use the store again if in town, usually my appointments are at other branch in Newcastle that my son takes me too or I go with a escort due to falls.
Dreadful. Didn’t listen to my concerns and symptoms, tried to dismiss everything. Wouldn’t even consider offering a solution to the problems I’m having. Find another place to have your hearing tested.
Got me fixed up in no time
Very thorough reliable service, staff are helpful & friendly, hubby broke his hearing aid within days of getting it and it was no trouble for them at all, had it fixed within 24 hours.
I recently visited for the ear wax removal service. Excellent service I just wish I hadn't of waited and suffered for 12 months. The lady that treated me did a fantastic job and made me feel comfortable and at ease and most of all the procedure worked and I only had to have one appointment. I would highly recommend this service.
