Milad was so helpful and patient when teaching me how to use contact lenses and I even got my glasses fixed during my visit by a tall guy wearing glasses (sorry, I didn’t see your name). Everyone is always so friendly and ready to help in the store!
I felt well looked after from the moment I arrived, warmly greeted and escorted to the waiting room. Each of the opticians I spoke to provided thorough explanations of what would follow, and checked my understanding. I was then given time to pick and choose frames, though I was also offered help with this. The available lens options were explained to me, and today I have returned to collect my glasses, which was also so straight forward.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and will help you if needed. Good choice of glasses at a good price.
As always, the appointment was well organized and ran smoothly. I have put off getting new glasses for a very long time because I HATE picking them, but today was actually not so bad. Ben was very knowledgeable, listened to my opinions and helped me narrow down the options of frames very quickly. I love the new glasses and feel very confident about them. Thank you!
It’s taken me five appointments since March 2025 to finally realise... Specsavers is the only optician for me from now on. I’ll admit, I should have been coming here all along. I now have two pairs of varifocals (one repaired on the spot—thanks to the very helpful gentleman who assisted me) and a new pair of computer glasses (thanks to the excellent care of the Kiwi optometrist and his colleague). My visits have included: 1) choosing and buying two pairs of varifocal glasses, 2) collecting them, 3) popping in to see if one pair could be repaired (my fault) and booking an eye test for computer glasses, 4)having the eye test and purchasing a new pair, and 5) collecting the computer glasses. The service has been consistently outstanding at every step.
Yet again,I am very happy with my visit to Specsavers in Chandler's Ford.Polite staff who give great service,from the optician to the young lady who advised me on which frames to choose.I am very happy with my glasses.Thank you,everyone.
Needed to get my subscription from them. Called, they were very polite. Took my details and said they'd get back to me, they never did. Called again, same thing. Called a third time and couldn't get through. Emailed them and never got response. I guess they weren't bothered because there was no money involved for them.

Always there to help.. happy to fix and mend.. good stock of specs in store... The local goggles shop .. a good place to start when you are looking around...
Not sure about this place. Came out disappointed. Although Bertha the optician was lovely, it's the quickest eye test I've ever had? Also when she was shining a light in my eye whilst I looked up, down left and right, she stood quite far away from my eye?? I worked in an opticians years ago and have regular checks and never had an examination like this, could she really see into the back of the eye standing so far away. Why was the slit machine not used? As for the floor staff, got no help whatsoever when choosing glasses and deals not explained to me. Also be warned nowhere to park. I hate to make a fuss but I think it might be best to raise my queries with a manager, not a small family type business so not entirely sure if they will care as it's a franchise. This was my first time using specsavers. Thought I would give them a go as they have a great choice of very affordable frames. Not sure if it was a good idea.
