Reading Pharmacy staff were excellent, their services were great every time you need advice and service they’re always there to help. Excellent guys keep it up.
Malma and salma were extremely helpful in being able to talk to my mum in her own language and were also able to quickly inform us about our prescriptions, they were also very kind

The most threadbare pharmacy I’ve ever seen in the UK; empty shelves with barely any products on, strange unknown brands, bizarre selection of stuff, not a single known or reliable brand of sun cream for example. Is this some sort of fraudulent business?

Echoing the previous reviews. This was a great pharmacy for the past 14 years but since the new owner took over it is shocking! They never have any stock, the staff are unhelpful and make no effort to keep queues down. Some staff are rude. Hopefully they will run it into the ground so someone else will take it over and we'll get our community pharmacy back!
This was our pharmacy since 2014 and under the previous managers was excellent and faultless. Since changing to Reading pharmacy, bar one member of staff kept on from the original team, it's a joke. Rude staff. Incompetent admin. Now we have a situation where my son and husband's medications are being "held for review" by their "lead pharmacist". This hasn't come from the NHS or GP, just they have decided. This has now been the case for months, I cannot make prescription requests without this happening and the prescriptions being held for over a week. I've asked why to be first told it was an "error" and then was told it was because of my requesting regular medications. Well I would do, I have a son and husband with lung conditions which require inhalers on repeat. Apparently, this makes me a potential drug dealer. I would understand if it was strong painkillers, antidepressants or other such high value meds loved by addicts. But we have normal, everyday inhalers, used by many in the country. I've never had this issue prior to the new owner/operator. Or at any other pharmacy over the years we have needed these. I've asked whether they have any right to target us and was shouted at. I've now told my surgery under no circumstances do I want our prescriptions sent here. It's hard enough having two family members with ongoing health issues, without this lot inexplicably deciding to harass and bully me for getting prescriptions that predate them even running the pharmacy. Please bring back the old team! UPDATE: not content with rudeness, they've now contacted my GP and said appalling and entirely false claims about me. I shall now be taking this further as it's slander and malicious falsehood.
Since new management has taken over this pharmacy they are completely useless. Long delays and bad organisation. I'm going to switch my monthly subscription to another shop as I can't trust I will get medications on time.
I have always found Reading Pharmacy to be so friendly and helpful and use them as my preferred pharmacy. They went above and beyond when there were supply issues with my newborn twins lactose free milk, with them sourcing some emergency tins from another pharmacy and chasing the manufacturer for delivery of the full prescription amount. They really did care and wanted to sort the issue out for which I am very thankful for
