The staff is great. But the app they use since a few weeks is the worst ever. Why did they need to use an app? Beggars believe. 5* for staff , minus 1 star for using an app.
What a fabulous pharmacy this is. The staff are friendly, well-dressed, positive and very hard-working. Our prescriptions are always prepared professionally and quickly. Google should let you leave 6* to reflect their glorious wonder.
It is shame that this review system does not have a way of leaving negative stars. I moved to the area back in the summer and switched my regular repeat prescriptions to this pharmacy. I have never seen such chaos and disorganisation in my life. There are always numerous members of staff “working’ here but very few actually serving customers. I never experienced a visit where my prescription had actually been filled and it was a case of just picking it up; instead, there was always a lengthy waiting time surrounded by numerous equally disgruntled customers. If these waits weren’t bad enough, you are forced to endure the performance of the lead pharmacist “holding court” doing his best to provide what can only be described as “entertainment” in the style of a bad stand up comedy routine coupled with some amateur dramatics, which does little to help in situation and in fact actually seems to slow down proceedings. The shop itself is in total disarray with old filled prescriptions littering the floor and shelves behind the counter and others being crammed into a self-service machine that can only be described as temperamental at best. I have had to give up using this facility and have been using my previously, highly organised and professional pharmacy over thirty minutes away. In conclusion, this place is not fit for purpose.
Atleast 6 people working. But only 1 helping customers. So you stand for easily 30 minutes till you are finaly seen. You ask to pick up your presception that has been ordered to there. And they have to order it. Go boots instead.
Medicine took days to be ready. Medicine was consistently not delivered. When complaining about this service, the pharmacist went on an extended tirade about being unable to recruit staff. This interaction felt very unprofessional. Although, to their credit they did freely agree their service was sub-standard. I might be a good idea to steer clear!
Utterly abysmal. Often closed in the middle of the day. On my last 4 consecutive visits the queue has been out of the door. Average waiting time to collect a repeat prescription has been 45 minutes. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like it. Avoid.
The staff there are really friendly, but I have never had my medication ready, no matter how far in advance I request it. It’s always too busy, with the queue to be seen taking upwards of 30 mins, let alone the wait time for prescriptions. I understand that the team is very very busy, and it’s not their fault, but gosh trying to get a prescription filled seems to require a half day off work!
The pharmacy was frantically busy before Christmas, but all the staff were patient, friendly and helpful. At closing time they had to lock the door, but they kept going until everyone who arrived before closing time had been served. I mislaid an envelope containing personal information in a hand dyed bag that had been a special present. To my amazement they kept it for 2 or 3 days until I could collect. Thank you so much everyone!
I've been using Day Lewis for years and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. They are head and shoulders above Boots and the old Lloyd's pharmacy. The pharmacy is always nice and clean. The staff are all very polite and professional and they were amazing during the pandemic. I have nothing but praise for them and good things to say.
