Worst pharmacy. The staff is very rude and they have written that we need to be respectful to them. I think respect should be both way. Would never like to visit this pharmacy again.

Not the best of experiences. I went in to purchase multivitamins with iron and was informed I couldn't buy items with iron in them without first consulting with my doctor. I went straight down to Superdrug and bought what I wanted with no issues whatsoever. No questioning by the staff. It was a standard, regular purchase. I'm not quite sure what the issue was at Lloyds. Maybe chemists have different protocols and guidelines with regard to certain products?

A truely dreadful experience. I visited the pharmacy twice for the same prescription . I was spoken to very badly and told four times the cost of my preferred supplier was more. I pay for prescriptions and offered to pay the difference, If required. (£12 higher in cost). I dread to think of how awful this would be for someone with a serious illness trying to deal with these people. I don’t even understand how this pharmacy is still open. They’ve been nothing but belittling and rude over the many years I’ve had to make seldom visits.

Never had a problem here. Always been able to get my prescription and staff are always friendly/helpful. Deducted one star just because stock is always low in this store but I know this is out of their control. Store seems to get a bad rep but I've been going here for 2+ years and can't say I've experienced any negative issues - Credit to your staff not an easy job for sure.

I wish I can give lesser stars to this terrible pharmacy. For a £5 eye drops, they charged me £16 claiming there is shortage!! Absolutely ridiculous!

Went to pick up a script only to get home to find it had only been half filled. Tried to call but they don't answer their phones. Unfortunately this has happened before.

What an appalling pharmacy. Arrogant, rude and unhelpful staff with even the most basic of requests. I have never found myself in a Lloyds pharmacy before and based on this experience never will again.

My husband was prescribed a new medication against severe nerve pain and the scrip was sent from GP about 10am this morning. I got there at 17.15 to pick up at least only the new prescription knowing that in these Corona times they are a bit pushed. While I got my husbands meds, (not mine, but that was ok) after a reasonable wait, I observed staff locking the doors at 17.23 despite advertising opening times until 17.30. At 17.25 a gentleman was refused entry and when I left at 17.27 a lady slipped into the door. Not sure if she was served or sent packing. I said to them if you want to leave at 5.30, then change your opening hours, so you can do that. Oh no, we work another hour I was told. So I did say that I though the practice of locking the door before the opening hours were finished was wrong and people may have had issues getting there. They should change their opening hours if they need to close earlier in order not to work too late. "Thank your for your feedback. Good bye" was said in a tone that might as well have told me to f... off. I shall do just that and go in future to Donkin Hill or Henley Road. Disgraceful behaviour, Corona or not. Edit October 22: I have since used Markand Pharmacy. What a difference, our name is remembered, our scripts are nearly always compete and on time, staff is friendly, and you can also park there.

Even though some of the staff clearly don't like me and don't try to hide it (even talk about me in a negative manner out back thinking I can't hear them) I still rate them 5 stars. These are people doing a tough job at a tough time. I work with the public and its not easy trying to keep everyone happy. There are some lovely helpful staff in the branch and I'm sure the ones that are not my biggest fans aren't bad people either. give them a break and moan about more important matters.

This is the most horrific pharmacy that you could ever visit in terms of customer service and a willingness to help. Not only that you are likely to die of old age all the condition that you are there to get cured rather than can be served in a timely manner The lady pharmacist that : "serves" (if you can call it that - although it might be a more accurate description to say holds people up and refuses to serve unless cornered like a rat in a trap) during the weekdays is not only contemptuous, but runs a slack ship with long waiting times regardless of the time of day and even if there is one customer in the shop. They can be nobody in the shop and you will still be ignored at the counter for a considerable amount of time. Actually consciously ignored. Any of the customers that they serves are done so in such an offhand way that they do not care about making anybody better, nor is the pharmacist interested in offering any service or help that you would anticipate from a pharmacist, like helping you gain access to a product or service to treat you. If you try to call, good luck - because she does not pick up the phone and she does not empower her employees at all. They are a lacklustre bunch of slack jawed helperlings who are not in the slightest way interested in making sure that you leave with anything that would improve your quality of life either. They're more into the authoritarian refusal of anything that you need and then revelling in the fact that you cannot get what you need without their prior gatekeeping approval. They have a fetishistic desire to keep their stock on the shelves rather than letting it walk out the front doors with a paying customer. Prescription wait times are phenomenally long. There is a young man that works there on a Saturday and if you can be lucky enough to get him he actually seems to care. However, he really is in the minority of one and although he deserves an individual mention the rest of them are best avoided and given the wide enough birth that they deserve. Try another pharmacist.
