On a Saturday morning I had run out of some tablets I always have to take twice daily. Usually collect all monthly from Dispenery at Boathouse Surgery without any problems but I had realised only the previous evening I had not been given a third box of this necessary medication. Wrongly expected local Chemist's to be helpful in the circumstances but they could not have initially been more unhelpful. Awful

Went in to collect my prescription feeling happy and relaxed on a sunny Saturday morning (despite having walked a round trip of 4 miles earlier in the week only to find the pharmacy had shut earlier than the 6pm stated closing time). The person behind the counter is the rudest, most unfriendly person I’ve ever encountered in a customer facing role. No greeting, please or thank you. No eye contact, a look of utter disdain and aggression and within 30 seconds that person has sucked all the life blood out of my day. That person may be the only human contact some older people may get. Told them that what a thoroughly unpleasant experience it had been and I would go somewhere else for the prescription. Awful!

Don't book your vaccination here. 40 min round trip for my 12:00 flu jab yesterday, £1.30 parking. Queued for 5 mins to be told that appointments were cancelled, and I "should" have had a cancellation. Cancellation email then received at 20:45 that evening. When someone remembered? Not bothered about customers.

Terrible pharmacy - do not waste your time. They used to be okay, bit now to get anything from them requires multiple visits. Regularly shuts unannounced and does not have your prescription in stock two weeks after doctors request. Will not use again.

Superb team in all ways and at all times despite the impatience, lack of understanding and outright rudeness of customers - no wonder that sadly one of the very outstanding ladies who has put up with so much for so long has now resigned. In my humble opinion, if anyone is dissatisfied with the service they receive at Lloyd’s Pharmacy in Pangbourne they should contact Lloyds Pharmacy Head Office direct as it is the head of the business and their team that have not managed to have a pharmacist on site and NOT the wonderful staff!

Been trying to ring all afternoon to get my prescription made up so I can just collect rather than wait. However no-one answers the phone! So now I am going to have to take time out of work to get there in time before they close, to get it made up and wait in a small room with other people... Great times with Covid. Maybe a email or txt service? Another note... if you have my prescription then surely I'm going to collect so just make it? Why make me wait in store to then make it when you've had it a week?

We've been let down too many times by this pharmacy: medicines not in stock, no pharmacist available, lost prescriptions, long queues of frustrated customers, asked to come back in 3 days, etc. Now without warning, they've shut the store completely for more than a week citing staff shortages. It's had a serious knock-on effect at the Boathouse Surgery too, as GPs are having to spend their time reissuing electronic prescriptions for alternative pharmacies.

Just went to pick up my prescriptions (after paying for the bridge and parking), but they said they hadn't been issued by the GP. I went back home and rang the GP who said they had, and gave me a reference code. I tried to call Lloyds, but – as always – they were permanently engaged, so I had to go down there to perform the whole rigmarole (also bridge costs and parking) to try again. They had the prescription all the time – not even an apology. And interestingly the shop was completely quiet, and no one was on the phone – perhaps they just leave it off the hook these days.
