Delivery was really poor. It won’t because of the delivery drivers is the people in the shop. The delivery guy is spot-on always delivered on time or before dinner was cold. I’ve never had a cold order ever not being funny. It’s lucky he’s got one star not a -10.
I went in to ask for help with a problem and was asked to wait in their tiny consultation room. I was seen within 2 minutes by a very helpful gentleman who had recently suffered the same ailment and could not have been more sympathetic. Excellent service.
Firstly, the staff didn't arrive until after opening time (not the first time). On entering the first thing that strikes you is that the place is filthy and needs a very deep clean. Then they tell me my repeat prescription had just come through and needed to be made up, despite being approved five days ago (specialist items that were approved at the same time from another supplier arrived two days ago). Tadley desperately needs an efficient pharmacy. Update -went back 3 days later to be told that my repeat prescription had just come through. Didn't even apologise when I told them they had said the same thing 3 days previously. They hadn't made it up when they had said it was being done. Now I have to go back again as an item was out of stock. McPartland management needs to get in there and get this place organised.
Pharmacist was on her PC while She undertook my consultation. She didn’t even listen as I had to clarify things twice. Overall her manner was dismissive and verging on the rude. If you need to visit a pharmacist go elsewhere.
The rudest staff I have ever witnessed. DO NOT USE unless it’s life or death. I witnessed a staff member rude to an elderly customer. I waited for 40 mins to see the the pharmacist. When asked if I may have been forgotten his response was I can only do one thing at a time! At no time had I suggested he drop everything. Whilst I appreciate they are busy and probably working in a stressful environment they completely lacked respect towards elderly people who may not have a voice and may also be unwell. They lacked the very basics of human care in a place that may need it most. They were extremely defensive/rude/ arrogant and aggressive in tone. If you want to watch a rude show I suggest you pay them a visit on a Saturday morning. Never again will I visit them. I ended up paying for a medication that I was told would be there to pick. I was given a strong prescription medication for my uncle that I didn’t ask for. Unbelievable! Didn’t ask my for an address or ID there was no confirmation of my uncles DOB. Shocking. # stay away!
Zero stars from me but I have to out one. They have made me wait nearly two weeks for medication and then went to collect today and waited for nearly forty minutes only to be told they still did not have it. Their system is shambolic and inept. They have been told by several medical professionals that my sons meds will be on repeat for the next three years on a fortnightly repeat so they know to order it in in advance etc...they have as yet been unable to provide me with most of his prescription. It's the utter lack of communication that i am furious about. Some people's medication is literally vital and they cannot run out without very serious, 999 type consquences. Simply not good enough. If you know you don't have it and can't get it, tell the customer so they can go, in good time, and get the meds from elsewhere.
Saved the day when I needed emergency medication, something that the pharmacies in Thatcham or Newbury couldn't offer.
I just wanted to say how impressed I was yesterday with the efficient and quick service I received yesterday. As soon as I walked into the pharmacy I was approached by a helpful lady who asked if she could help me. I was in and out within a few minutes and great that it was open until 4pm on a Saturday as my daughter urgently needed the item that I purchased. Thank you!
Not only are prescriptions delayed multiple times but they actually lost one of my prescriptions and claimed that I never gave it to you then on top of this there is unable to prescribe insulin from another prescription it's worth going to Sainsbury's
Recently repeat prescriptions have a habit of being delayed as items not in stock or between the pharmacy & dispensory there's been a cock up. It's a small pharmacy but they stock some handy products at ok prices. If you require any disability, orthotic or orthopaedic products there happy to show you some of there suppliers brochures and order an item in for you.
