   Busy, busy, busy. This place is the first place you head for when getting off the train at Waverley. It's usually difficult to find a table here as it's mostly busy. Everyone chatting and happy. There is the option to order from your table online which usually works or you can order directly from the bar. The service is usually quick. Yesterday I had ordered online but the lady who served me was very quiet and did not smile which is a shame as generally Wetherspoons have helpful staff but the food did come quickly.

   Great food, excellent and cheap cocktails, and almost no waiting time. Staff is friendly, service is fast, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Fantastic value — highly recommended!

   Had chicken strips with side salad, mushroom sauce, barbecue sauce and coleslaw with a Scottish local beer. She had Thai curry chicken and rice with rum and coke. Delicious dinner. Table was not cleaned up when we arrived so we asked them to clean it for us. Very popular pub didn’t wait long for our dinner. Will have this again for sure.

   Good food, great value. I ordered the breakfast roll with bacon, sausage and a fried egg. It was delicious. My husband’s egg and bacon English muffin and my son’s scrambled eggs and toast were both okay, but not great. The fresh fruit was tasty.

   Arrived late in Edinburgh and decided to stick with something simple and known. Didn't disappoint, one of the nicer 'Spoons meals we've had and excellent quality even though it was nearly 11.00pm when we ordered. Place was clean and friendly.

   Pub operated by weatherspoon. Budget Breakfast as low as £3.65 with drink. For £1.35 u can get unlimited refill of coffee. Price is good but food quality is average.
